One of my favorite details during the MJF/CM Punk’s feud is the change in the reaction of Maxwell to the “CM Punk’s” chants. It started with him being absolutely unbothered by them, then he looks even amused listening them. In the third gif, is where everything changes, because it’s the moment Punk said “the greatest day in your life, and to me, it was friday”, the moment those chants hurt him because the audience was supporting Punk’s cruel words. Then, people loudly chanted Punk’s name before he could cut his most emotional promo ever, and he even said “I get it, guys”, while he had tears in his eyes. Finally, he looked absolutely angry at fans chanting his opponents’ name before the most intense, violent match in his career until now and, without a doubt, the most emotional and deep one.
