Is it really hard to figure out for marinette to use any of the miraculous to like… help her with this major secret and sentimonsters issue? So far yeah… keeping the secrets from adrien is majorly horrible, but like she used second chance for a reason when she told Luka the truth about Gabriel. The same concept applies. But i suppose for the sake of continuity and character consistency (which is tremendously arguable) i guess she can’t?
But to put this in for sake of storytelling there’s always a catalyst the leads to her making the conclusion. For one, she needs an adult. Like for real, call out the memes where one should scream “I need an adult help I need an adult!” The things Mari had to go through is messed up and too much for her age. More messed up for Adrien too but still. The world is on their shoulders and Su Han being so judgmental couldn’t be more firm enough to say, “actually leaving the situation to children is a terrible idea” but hey it’s a kids show and kids should be inspired to be strong blah blah. Yeah I like that, I don’t like this tho.
Moving on, if it takes someone to settle down Mari’s heart for a minute I’m sure it’s enough to get the gears in her to figure out how to tell the truth to Adrien. The first thing truth though, having been given some thought as to which is to come first, is definitely the truth that Gabriel is monarch. It’s quite clear that when it all comes down everything WILL be revealed. That includes the understanding that Adrien is a sentimonster.
It’s gotta be slow. If it all goes down all at once his brain would explode. If it makes sense, the only reason Gabriel did all this was because he wanted to bring Emilie back and Emilie ended up this way because she wanted Adrien to be born. Simple. So the only thing that can make sense of this for Adrien is that he has to hear it from the source of it all. And that’s his parents. There’s only 1 point in time for each he can get this closure to. He needs to hear the truth from Gabriel himself as to who he was. And from his mother to hear the cause of how it all came to be. The reason why it has to come from them is because, even if he hears it from Ladybug or marinette is would only be destruction and sorrow.
So of course, how will he ever hear any of them? 2 ways, 1 being more potentially destructive than the other, and that’s if he retrieves the kwagatami? I forgot if that’s what it’s called, for both the butterfly and peacock miraculous. The other which is potentially destructive (especially unless Adrien is not holding the miraculous of destruction on himself) is for him to see the fight himself of bug noir and monarch from beginning to end, and the only way for that to happen if any others exists would be unless bunnix shows him the past. Which of course reveals the fact that Mari is ladybug. It would be fitting as well if he had gone back to the past to talk to his mother about everything too with out revealing too much of the future. Otherwise the process in which all of this occurring would be that Adrien would have to specifically be the one to wear the snake miraculous so the it could turn back time to make the ones who should not know the future, like Gabriel and his mom not know…
And I imagine this way happening only if Natalie, Luka, Rena, Bunnix, heck even Nino, and Marinette to be all together with Adrien if they go this route of going back to the past and getting that closure and truth. I say this because with everyone in this party together is to be support for our long awaited couple. Truthfully I’d like for Natalie to chime in to say something along the lines of “with you being so young you shouldn’t have handled all of this by yourself” to Marinette. Cause yall we all know that she shouldn’t have to shoulder any of this.
At some point in time as well someone has got to tell Marinette that she misinterpreted Gabriel’s message. He never asked her to make the world nor Adrien to believe he was the good guy, he asked to make Adrien remember the times he tried to be a good father.
There’s also… a huge mother trucking thing that we all may or may not have forgotten. What happened to the lucky charm that Monarch took after his arm got cataclysm’d? What do you think would happen if Adrien found it？especially when he was clearing out his house?
