Why KokoPie is terrible.
Haven't posted in a while but here goes. This is my honest review of KokoPie. Short version: I made two orders from them, each order came A MONTH LATER after my initial purchase and each package had MISSING ITEMS. Customer service was vague and hardly helpful, giving pitiful excuses. Oh and should I say that shipping was way overpriced? Bullshit. Long version: So as I said, I made two orders. First order was for two hats. Second order was for a sweater, shirt, and numerous pins and patches. (I'm not even gonna show pictures. Pins were nice, patches as pictured, shirt was a bit thin, hat was made out of sturdy material) I ordered both the week of black friday and thanksgiving. Maybe you might think I'm being too harsh about this but really? Four weeks to receive two packages? Keep in mind that this is a US BASED SELLER WITH THREE PACKING LOCATIONS. I messaged them and they got back to me apologizing for the wait. They said that because it was black friday and they had more orders than expected that things were taking a while. But really? How are you gonna be unprepared for black friday with three locations. Again, sounds like bullshit to me. The first package to come in was the larger order: I was ecstatic then very much pissed off to see that my sweater and one of the patches were missing. Really? I wait three weeks to have items missing? They said that they could either refund the patch price or I could wait, and that my sweater would be shipping from California (which is the state that I live in btw). I opted to wait for the patch since I really wanted all of my items more then anything else. As for my other package with the hats that has yet to be received, they said that they had actually been sold out after the first five hours. Wait what? When I ordered the hats, there was no such thing notifying me that it was sold out. Why keep selling something that you've sold out of??? They said that their provider in China takes a while to ship, therefore the delay. At first, they said that they would ship the missing patch with the two hats and I said thats fine. However, they said that they would ship the patch and the sweater together so the second package would just be the hats and now I'd be waiting for a third package. Second package arrived about ten days after the first, but guess what? ITS MISSING THE OTHER HAT. Are you serious?! So now I'm possibly looking at waiting for another TWO PACKAGES. FOUR IN TOTAL. I messaged them, but since it is the holiday weekend, they can't check until next week. I had such high hopes for this store but now I am thoroughly disappointed and pissed off. And cute items and products, but do I really have to go through this much just to get them? Forget it.
