Derweze, also known as the door to hell, is a 70 meter wide hole in the middle of the Karakum desert in Turkmenistan. The hole was formed in 1971 when a team of soviet geologists had their drilling rig collapse when they hit a cavern filled with natural gas. In an attempt to avoid poisonous discharge, they decided to burn it off, thinking that the gas would be depleted in only a few days. Derweze is still burning today
The Right Trousers (1995)
British comedian Lenny Henry decided that a live action Wallace and Gromit Christmas special (The Right Trousers) would be a great idea. He also decided to play both Wallace and Gromit himself.
He stayed true to the source material but the end result was really disturbing. It received a backlash from viewers for being creepy (even though it was unintentional) and was never re-broadcast.

Snapdragon Seed Pod
Also known as Antirrhinum majus, this wildflower starts to look like a skull during late summer after it’s petals fall out and reveal a green sea pod which slowly browns. It also has some interesting legends associated with it like that concealing one in your room or person will make you seem “fascinating” and even repel evil spirits.
Another legend is that any woman that consumes this wildflower will have eternal beauty which is just ridiculous since every part of the snapdragon is poisonous.

Seance tables
These were used before the invention of ouija boards. Spiritualists were using the “tipping table” which could come in various forms, but which was originally developed by the Fox family(Margaret and Kate Fox). Cool paranormal history lesson.
Mar Sem Fim
This Brazilian yatch shipwrecked near Ardley Cove, Antartica due to strong winds and stormy seas. The crew abandoned the ship and the water that washed over the ship froze, cracked its hull and sunk the yacht. It has since been salvaged.
David Huggins
Artist David Huggins claims that when he was and still is visited by alien beings. Living with his family in rural Georgia, David began to experience encounters with aliens from another dimension at eight years old. He saw the typical grey aliens as well as “mantis-like” alien creatures and “hairy man” alien creatures.
There is one encounter that stands out though. He claims to have met an alien named Crescent to whom he lost his virginity at the age of 17. He says that Crescent took over his body and used him to breed over 60 alien hybrids.
David spends his days painting his encounters and his first love, Crescent.
