Searching for the Faces of Africas Runway

Calling all University Students of the UK

We are excited to announced that we are searching for 4 models (2 men and 2 women) to be the Face of Africas Runway! If you're a student studying in the UK and are thinking of starting a career in modelling then get applying! 

We are looking for individuals with raw natural talent and beauty but most importantly we are looking for individuals with wonderful personalities who will stand as a positive example in the African fashion industry. All heritages are welcomed! The lucky winners will represent us and our new clothing campaign in 2014. If you think you have what it takes to be one of the four faces of Africas Runway and gain experience in the fashion and modelling industry then follow the information found via our website.

Beauty Tips: Smooth & Kissable Lips 2

Chapped lips are a problem and often can be painful and make you feel unattractive. The cause: exposure to sun, wind and cold air. Of course it is pretty hard to maintain smooth lips, especially with the unpredictable weather that is the United Kingdom. But there are ways to achieve those kissable lips. Standard, always have your favourite lip balm to apply when necessary. As our previous post on dry lips states, before going to bed, dip a baby toothbrush in a little bit of baking soda and water and brush lightly over your lips to gently exfoliate the dead skin. Another home remedy is to mix olive oil and sugar and apply the same way and wash away. You will certainly feel the benefits.

Beauty Tips: Curly Hair

Summer is here! And last week's heatwave definitely kicked started the hot summer we have all been waiting for. But, for all you curly hair types the sun can be difficult in keeping your curls in good condition, leaving your hair dry and fragile. Your hair needs moisture, its the one rule for those with curls. You don't ever need to shampoo, this only makes your hair drier. Just co-wash your hair, a term for 'conditioning washing', and twice a week do a deep conditioning treatment with your favorite conditioner. The best time to do this is before you go to bed, so when you've put your conditioner in your hair cover with a scarf, hair turban or anything you can and leave in whilst you sleep! Your hair will feel like it should: natural and curly.
