Disability Pride Day 13 Prompts!
Happy Monday!
Today’s Disability Pride Month prompts come with a side of begging: please please please, I beg, tag your disability-related fics with a disability tag on ao3. Did you know if you filter AFTG fics by “Disabled Character” and nothing else you get 117 fics? Out of over 27,000 fics? And if you filter by “Disability” you only get 163 fics, many of which are duplicates of the “Disabled Character” search? To fill in a fic rec spreadsheet with disability-related fics, for instance, one would have to keep thinking of disabilities and then searching by those, one at a time, and some would still be missed because they aren’t even tagged with their specific disability. So please, again, I beg: tag disability in your fics and spread the message. The archive works best when tags are used appropriately.

AFTG Disability Pride Full Prompt Calendar

There are three types of prompts available to choose from for AFTG Disability Pride Month 2026.
Is that too many prompts? Yes! Is my inability to choose a symptom of my ADHD mixed with my overwhelming excitement for this event? Also yes!
If you're interested in using more than one prompt at a time, whether that's every day, a couple times in the month, or just once, I've created a calendar that shows all three prompt lists together. I've done my best to order the lists so that each day has prompts that complement each other or could be interesting together, but there's no need to feel constrained by my ideas. Mix and match however you want!
