Mermaid colour study for a final illustration
First page of my 14x17 in sketchbook, a kirin and dragon, still adding to this page :D
Night time routines used to involve filling up a sketchbook page with anything, going back to doing that and feels good.
Watercolour drawing recently finished, based on a statue at art museum I went to a while back. Used fine tec metallic watercolours.
Micron drawing of a stranded airship
Drawing done while in Vegas, I travel a lot and use stillman & birn sketchbooks because of the heavier paper.
Drawing I started on the plane, when done I’m thinking of putting this on a shirt
A work in progress, sketched at the airport while waiting to go to work. This is a man who’s found pterosaurs still living in modern times but keeps them hidden.
Sketchbook page, started of as a sketch of hands and came up with this :D
Work in progress, a giant mechanical wasp coming to life. Started this project in 2020 and it's been sitting aside for a while.
Metal Pegasus sketch
I made a book! Put together a bunch of recent works and a few older ones into an 8x11 inch book. I'm going to get this one self published and get it out there! :)
My fictional happy place :) I sketched this from two different spots on a road trip in the mountains, changing features to make it look like there's some buildings emerging from the rocks.
I used water soluble graphite and black chalk from a brand called Art Graf.
This is an old drawing, I combined two statues that were pretty worn and broken. The man was missing the head and hands, the horse missing a body and part of its face.
A dragon from many years ago. I wanted to do more fantasy and sci-fi art, but focused more on pursuing science illustration. But doing technical drawings for so long I felt kinda burnt out. Lately I have been going back to doing more imaginary based designs.
Me in my spacepod, ready to go anywhere.
Sketch of my guy, Petrel Hurston.
Something I did in my pentalic sketchbook at the library, took a few hours. I found some old books of fashion photos and loved this lady, I don't know who the photographer is...
