Banner Challenge 1

Starts: NOW | Ends: 6th May (Countdown Clock)

Welcome to the first ever challenge of Arthur & Gwen Stills! First challenge up is the Banner Challenge. Artists have TWO WEEKS to complete a banner using the theme ‘Reunion‘

Rules & Guidelines:

+ Artists must submit banners about the Arthur/Gwen pairing.

+ Each banner must be 500px wide and 600px in length.

+ Each banner must be an interpretation on the theme ‘Reunion’.

+ Banners can feature screencaps from the show, promos or pictures of Angel or Bradley. Canon, AUs or Modern interpretations of the theme are welcome!

+ Artists can submit up to TWO banners.

+ Banners must be original pieces of artwork (i.e: never been posted before).

+ The deadline to submit banners is the 6th of May at 23:59 (Countdown Clock).

+ Banners need to be sent to arthurgwenstills[at]gmail.com by the deadline with the following information in the heading:

Username | Challenge Title | Number of banners (i.e: theres-always-hope | Banner Challenge 1 | 2 banners.)

Then in the email, please include the following information:

Title of banner: Artist’s Note/s: (here include credits to where you got the images, textures, PSDs etc that you used and any other notes you want to include)

+ And finally, please refrain from posting your banners until voting has ended and winners have been announced.

This time around instead of having 5 themes for the challenge, we have three overall themes. They are: AU (alternate Universe), Modern & Reincarnation! Christmas 2012 Fic Exchange: Reveal Post STARTS: Now! ENDS: 2nd January 2013 (Countdown Clock)

Now is the time for all the authors to reveal themselves after a month of spreading Christmas Cheer through the form of fic in ag-fics Christmas 2012 Fic Exchange. Before we do that, I would first like to thank everyone who participated in this exchange (from those whose left prompts, to the fic writers and others who read and commented on fills) this exchange would not have been such fun and a success without you guys so thanks! All in all, after 27 days of writing, we managed to write a total of 43 fics. Though, it was no where near the goal of a 100, its still quite a number!

ag-fics has opened up a special event for Christmas, called the Christmas 2012 Fic Exchange. People will be given the opportunity to leave prompts and then writers can post fics in response to their prompts. There is also a challenge element to the exchange (seeing as we are a challenge community), but to find out more click on the banner.

Short Challenge 6 is now OPEN! The themes for this challenge are: Loophole, silk, wimple, addiction & annual.

The rules are fairly simple: write an entry (authors can write up to two) with a min word count of 3,500 based of one or more of the themes. Winners get a lovely banner to look at!

Hi, we've started a sign up at ag_fics for Mini Challenge 6, which will be a Fic Battle.

The rules are all on the sign up sheet - so that you know what you're getting yourself into. YOU HAVE 28 HOURS TO SIGN UP. + Author's have to sign up to play, Prompters don't - but Authors can prompt too. + They'll be no being Anonymous. + They'll be no choosing prompts - people will give them to you. + They'll be no vote. The Winner will simply be the one who finishes the most Fills. + The Survivors will finish all of the prompts submitted to them...and the rest - the rest will be the one's who gave up. The Entry Post will be posted on Tuesday the 18th of September - Aussie time - so hurry up and Sign Up.

ag_fics's Mini Challenge 6 is taking on a new format and becoming a - FIC BATTLE. Duh Duh DUUUUUUH. To participate as an Author, this requires signing up now, so you can play Tuesday (18th Sep, AEST) when the Entry post is posted. If you just want to prompt - there's no need to sign up. (FYI: Authors can Prompt other Authors) + This will be the first Mini Challenge that isn't Anonymous. + This will be the first Mini Challenge that doesn't have a Vote. (But there will still be Winner/Survivor Banners) Fills must be at least 200 words | You can only Fill the Prompts you receive | The First 4 Prompts you receive must be Filled IN order | Writing ends after 5 days of probable chaos | Prompts will stop 24 hours before the end of the Challenge | You can write ANY character/pairing you're comfortable with, but 'romantic' pairings involving Arthur or Gwen must be AG, or at least involve a triangle (for example: Arthur/Gwen/Lancelot), or the explanation/story of a past relationship/ex that effected them (Pre-AG).
