A Scandal in Bohemia by Ines92

So this was one of the drawings I made for Book Illustration Competition organized by Folio Society! Unfortunately my entry didn't get into the finals but I still like what I did  Also the longlisted entries are simply stunning, you can vote for your favs on Folio's website!! (competitions.houseofillustrati… ) The winner will be announced on 20th of February. I'm in love with some of the entries, it's no shame to loose against such great artists   The task was to illustrate 3 of Sherlock Holmes stories they provided. This one was an illustration to 'A Scandal in Bohemia'!

This is an artwork I did for an Artshow at MagicCon in Germany, I won in the category of "books"   It's Varda from Tolkien's Silmarilion, It was fun to be working in traditional media again   I know some things are off but I still like how it turned out, hope you like it! it's watercolours and coloured pencils
