We see you. You matter. [March 31]
Allow people to like you, to enjoy your company, to want to be your friend. Allow them to compliment you, allow others to think you’re cool and funny even if you think you’re not. It is not up to you to tell others how to feel, and remember that people might see the positive things in you and qualities that you have been failing to see while being too self-critical. Allow yourself to be liked by other people, even when you don’t see why they should. Don’t self-isolate because you think you are not good enough for other people.

You are allowed to unlearn who you’ve been if it isn’t who you are or want to be anymore.
My cousin Amanda lost her battle with covid. She was 40, a mother to three kids and a grandmother. The middle child out of 3 kids and by far my favorite cousin. Always quick-witted and the type of person who you felt like you'd known your entire life despite being strangers 10mins prior.
I'm so mad that she wasn't vaccinated. Amanda was a healthcare worker, she knew better. Her kids now have no mother, granddaughter without a grandmother, siblings without a sister, mother without a daughter.
My cousins have lost their mom in a period when they're just starting their lives and my heart goes out to them. They deserved to watch their mom grow old and experience life while coming into theirs.
Please get vaccinated if you can, because we lost someone in the immediate family when it could've been preventable. Your loved ones deserve to watch you grow old.
