Bipolar Steve

the connection to steddie is in the last 5 paragraphs

my favorite thing about fanon Steve is how bipolar codded he is. idk if people even mean to do this but they do. this works especially well when you combine fanon Steve and canon Steve.

he's the life of the party. someone you can barely keep up with until he's not. then he's a cring mess in the corner.

he has a giant ego that makes him think he's better than everyone else until he doesn't. then he's a failure who does nothing right.

his ego causes him to get into fights they could never win.

His mind goes from being full of so many ideas he can't keep up with them. To him having no motivation, no ideas and just wanting to lay in bed doing nothing all day.

sometimes they go with the masking depressed Steve who's secretly a sad mess but a lot of times they go with him having constant mood swings. going back or forth between having high highs and low lows. over and over again until the end of time. that's bipolar.

he'll have a mental break down. then just being fine the next day, acting like it never happened. the other characters will come down stairs from comforting a Steve who was practically on suicide watch the night before to him making them a 5 coarse breakfast like it's nothing.

bipolor Steve is my favorite Steve. I just want to scream at the characters In the story that it's okay. he has bipolar. he's not pretending to be fine. he's manic. let him be manic.

especially when this is combined with the head cannon that Eddie's mother had bipolar. Eddie tried taking care of her but he was 8 so it wasn't enough. his mother was also the safer parent not the safe parent. so when Eddie finds out Steve has it he knows what to do. while being paranoid Steve's going to be like his mother.

then he's not, he thanks Eddie for taking care of him. his mother never did that she just expected it. Steve uses his manic energy to cherish him instead of protecting an abuser. in fact Steve goes out of his way to protect Eddie from other people. if anything he's over protective. Steve's ego doesn't make him think he's better than him. he never talks down to him like Eddie's mother did. it causes Steve to feel overly confident about himself, Eddie and their relationship. talking about how amazing Eddie is. how happy he is with him. how lucky he is to find someone like him.

it makes him have to swallow the difficult pill that his mother sucked because she wasn't a good person. not because of her having bipolar like he's been telling him self for years

so Steve having Bipolor helps them both heal. Eddie's never had someone appreciate him for taking care of them. he likes taking care of them. the date nights that become them laying on the couch together cuddling while Steve cries into his chest are nice and comforting.

it's not much but it's exactly what Steve needs. To just not be alone. Steve has never had someone take care of him. he's used to people thinking he's too much. too sad, too happy, too emotional.

Eddie wants to take care of someone and be cherished for it. Steve wants to be taken care of and to protect the other person. so they are exactly what the other person needs.

Post Season 2 cannon Divergent Rewrite

Not long after the events of season 2 Billy Hargrove was arrested for the assault, battery, and attempted murder of Steve Harrington. Along with the attempted kidnapping and abuse of minors. What did he really expect though? Of course Steve pressed charges, he was almost killed and the party was threatened. If he's not pressing charges for himself he’s doing it for them

i'm building a puzzle for the reader to solve. vecna stays 'gone' for about 2 years after the events of season 2. He's preparing something, something big. three big things to be more spacific. a social, mental and physical one

from now on it's an in depth analysis of what I plan on doing. Blow here is going to spoil the fanfic. Not ruin the experience though. I always like seeing something build to events.

=========vecna. demo's

I'm giving Vecna and the demo's stupid weaknesses because they have an anatomy closely related to frogs. so peper spray and salt hurt them.

just dumb enough you wouldn't think to try it until then does. like pepper spray would dissolve a demo bogs skin while bullets just bounce off their skin.

it also makes more sense why they don't attack during the winter time. they can't because of all the salt they spray on the roads.

i'm going to make Vecna a vindictive, manipulative, creepy, man child. He likes taking someone who's happy and breaking them. Making them do things they don't want to. Getting them to push everyone away. making them dependent on them while hitting them more.

vecna lies a lot. 80 percent of the monologues he says to the party will be him lying. He tells Will that he's weak and that's why he took him. that's a lie, he was the first one the demo ran into. Will fight and stayed alive way longer than a week kid could have. it's a lie made to make someone surrender.

he talks a big game but he's a pathetic person. his giant ego just stops him from seeing that. this will be his down fall. He's still smart but he's only smart on paper. he's great at chest and mind games but his ego getts in the way.

part of his plan is to do what he did in season 4. he gets in the heads of Crissy, Jason, Troy, mike, max, and more. he does this by prying in a pushing certain impulses and thought forward. then judge them for it. this will be protrayed as him giving them OCD.

He's also going to possess someone(not Billy, he's in jail), make them build the mind slayer like in season 3. that person will be mike. initially he was planning on taking Jason or Troy but mike started misbehaving(had his gay awaking).

Vecna remembers how well mike took care of will. mike discovering his plan. he knows how much Elle and will care about him so he targets him. of coarse he is, it's stupid that he didn't

he's also going to attack the group socialy with the satanic panic stuff through Jason and Troy. using them to torment the group(mostly mike). it doesn't take much convincing.

They already suspect mike the leader of a cult so they bully him for being the Phyco freak of the school. have him get locked in closets by the music room. have that over stimulate him. have them call him zombie sucker and say that he's a frog looking for his prince.

this causes him to start skipping class/school and getting rounded a lot. Have his mother and Nancy chain smoke and drink a lot. have him start drinking. have him argue with Nancy and ted a lot. have his one good relationship be with holly. he lets her braid his hair, do his makeup, paint his nails, and have tea parties with her. Have ted call him a fag for this. vecna will use all this against him. he starts dissociating.

======== Lucas max mike

have Lucas join the basket ball team. starts a rumor that mike is allergic to salt. this will make mike being hurt by salt when possessed so much more insulting. Mike suggests the salt idea because it's better than how he was bullied before(it's bad). Have Lucas act as a spy in the cool kids. A secret freak gaining Intel from the inside. a double agent. have Steve mentor Lucas with basketball.

the causes a wedge between max and Lucas because he's acting cool. She's also pushing Lucas away because Vecna is in her head. She blames her self for what Billy did to Steve. Her mother is always drunk so she spends most of her time at the hopper cabin with Jane. Max is polyamerous pan-sexual but she has doesn't know what holly is. Vecna convinces her that being able to have feelings for more than one person that's cheating. makes her think she's a horrible person. so she breaks up with Lucas 6 times.

in the beginning i'll give mike, Max, and Elle good day. they are all clothes going shopping. helps Elle become a person. explore characters through Elle because she's the new one. just to reintroduce characters.

lucas is going to spend a lot of time observing. he notices mike is gay. he notices something is wrong with mike and max. he's the main one investigating the Vecna curses. he breaks into the consuler's office to take photos of the files that lead to everyone finding out the symptoms

========Dustin and will

Have Dustin call at code pink but only have Will show up. A code pink is when an alert is something that isn't a code red but could become a code red. this is a call back to the first event being a code pink. Dustin has been experimenting on the demo him and Steve put in Mrs Byers fridge. him and Willl discover the weaknesses from the beginning. Dustin learns how to make weapons that help them fight against the mind slayer easier. Will using his knowledge on Vecna to outsmart him. take control of the hive. he also does things from building up a tolerance to the stuff Vecna hates.

========hopper

hopper is busy preparing something else. he has murey forges documents making it seem like the science failed and that the lab lost a lot of money, fakes Elle's death, he uses the death scientist to black mail the company responsible for it into giving him money to make it disappear.

hires murey to make the remaining lab scientist disappear. along with the people part of the company. then he buy's gasoline and bombs. if a portal ever opens he'll burn the upside down to the ground.

========johnathan

Johnathan also gets the Eddie plot but not with Crissy dying. i'm going to make it troy. Jonathan will be spotted running away from the body by Jason. he will assume he killed him to avenge Willl and Mike. Or mike ordered him to do it because they were on to him.

jason is almost going to be right a lot. he's technically right Mike's the one who ordered the kill on Troy. only because Vecna told Mike it was Troy or max. Jason thinks a demon is after the town. he's kinda right about this but he doesn't see the real culprit, Vecna.

i'm thinking about bring barb back. I think it would be cool if Jonathan hides at Steve's house. this helps them deal with their issues. Steve sends Jason to look at the old lab thinking it's empty. He ends up finding a recently escaped barb. this makes him believe that Tory was sacrificed to bring her back. he thinks Jonathan is still dating Nancy. barb was her freind so he counts Jon's motive for the crime. he tires killing her but gets killed.

barb didn't die, she never died. the body hopper and Elle say was a fake one made from the lab. my proof for this. well hopper never cut open the body to check if it was fake so it can reasonibly be fake. Elle was looking for barb. between looking for a fake corpse or barb hiding. she finds the fake corpse. barb lives because she had pepper spray the night she was taken. it helped her escape. the lab then fakes her death only in the upside down to get Hopper to back off. it also fools Vecna so she's able to hide because he doesn't know she's alive

after she escapes and kills Jason her phone she's kept on her for the voice mails from nancy. she kept it charged out of spite and the need to stay sane. it also helped Vecna not notice her when in the upside down. the phone starts getting notifications. One's from her parents, Nancy, steve, and more.

if I do this i'll make it so she haunts he narrative stuff. like one of the things that starts Mike's gay awakening is her telling him she doesn't;t know how to love anyone who's not barb. she misses her and wishes she would have told her how she felt. that the only thing that hurts more than being rejected is never knowing. never getting the chance to get together.

Man Child Vecna

i'm rewriting stranger things and plan on having vecna possessing someone. I find myself making vecna a man child. It mostly stems from the final season making him pathetic so i'm running with it. along with the "he likes it cold" thing. so when someone is possessed he forces them to appeal to his pallet. the main problem for the character is that vecna has the flavor pallet of a five year old

here's some of the things he doesn't like in my opinion.

i'd like to apologize to the character I subject to not being able to consume these things. oh mike you poor thing. He's someone who practically lives off of nicotine, weed and caffeine. ohhh, good luck

AI vs Fanfiction(AO3)

i keep hearing people complain about AI being used in faniction. I can't help but think they are missing what makes the 'super soaker' controversy so bad. It's not the fact that it was made with ai that bad, it's the lie. They committed the worst sin you could ever possibly do on ao3, they didn't tag it correctly.

if people want to make AI fanfic and put it online. Fine, Sure, Whatever. you do you I guess. I think the rule 'don't like, don't read' applies here

It is called 'Archive or our own' so everything ends up there and sadly AI falls under this category. I hate it but it will end up on AO3 so we might as well set a side space for it. so they are less likely to just learn to hide it better. this is what scares me the most.

it's going to be difficult to spot AI on AO3 because we ignore writing flaws with the assumption that a person made it and released it for free. it's a common way that we choose to interact with fanfics. i'm not giving that up for AI.

AI should be allowed on ao3, BUT IF THEY DON'T TAG IT, THEY'RE A MONSTER. I need to know if it is or not so I can do this.

this is my new favorite tag btw and the solution to this problem we face is the exclude option. Along with ao3 adding something that automatically tags fanfic with the 'AI-Generated Text' if they detect it.

But why frog face

what if troy calls mike frog face as an insult based on the princes and the frog. like mike is a frog looking for his prince/princess. so he's calling him ugly and potentially gay.

or it's just a play on frogs being gay. the writers threw in to hint mike was gay.

in the world of stranger things that analogy doesn't exist yet. so it has to be the prince thing. or it just doesn't mean anything, it's insulting because it has no effort and makes no sense. I can see mike being annoyed at not understanding what he's being bullied for. wondering what's wrong with frogs and why it's bad. would torment him more than anything else. so essentially troy is weaponizing mike autism against him.

It bothers me to my core not understanding why Troy calls him frog face(this is where I got the autism theory). so I hope that other people who appreciate this explanation

i find it unbelievably funny that the two characters that are the most genre aware in stranger things are the himbo and the one black character. they know they are normally the first to get killed in horror movies. so Steve and Lucas lock in.

Even in the first season will(gay character) is the first to lock in but sadly they are also the first victom despite that. it seems they lost all their genre awareness after that. well unless they are aware that they are the victim of the story.

The Fridge Demo

so what happened to the demo dog

i'm doing a post season 2 stranger things rewrite and this stuipid scene is what's motivating it. The idea of Dustin studying this monster to learn more about the upside down. Then it starts moving slowly. This monster and the other demo dogs are all trying to combine to make the mind slayer. At one point Dustin will make a compass that is just some of the creature in a round clear disk to track it.

Since Billy is in jail for the assault and attempted murder of Steve harington. along with the attempted kidnapping and assault of multiple minors. that leaves mike as the one to be possessed instead of him in season 3.

Also Vecna is slowly trying to destroy everyone's mental health. as satanic panic runs rampid in the town

so basically it's going to have the mind slayer, a possessed mike(physical threats). vecna playing mind games (mental threat). Jonathan Crissy/cult plot(social threat)

There's a lot going on but there are so many characters in this show. They need a lot to do. I also like the idea of vecna taking twice as long to attack because he's throwing multiple things at them.

Dustin investigates the monster leading to them discovering the mystery instead of causing the mystery. mike being the spy instead of Will. having Jonathan be in danger instead of Will/Eddie. Joyce has to choose a kid/trust will. mirrors the other seasons really well. it just so happens to be my 3 favorite head-cannons.

i only have the first 2 chapters done. right now i'm witting some Steve angst. Along with introducing Vickie. I have the timeline planned out. can you believe people say the show didn't have anything left for season 3. The solution was in Mrs byers fridge.

freshly trans Jax joins the circus

i got this idea from a comic of a post transition Jax getting added to the game post season finally. They were exploring the places they use to live at when homeless and rediscover the headset. since they go by a new name, gender and look entirely different than before. The game categorizes them as a new person.

They look similar to cannon trans Jax except they are dressed way more masculine. they still have to pass as a female though. The new lesson for them is to accept the mescaline side of being a MTF. they are freshly trans when this happens. Some trans people will reject their birth gender entirely to the point of toxicity. (i've seen and done this) Essentially their character has over corrected.

they put down other women for not doing it the right way. Trad wife, get in the kitchen type of stuff. Bragging about being cat-called as if it's a good thing. They like it because it's gender euphoric and they haven't experienced the dangers of women hood yet. even with that, they act like they know everything.

The way Jax defined masculinity is by what's not feminine before. so when they first come out I can see them rejecting all masc things. then defining femininity through the same toxic masculine view point.

A major plot point can be the fear of everyone finding out they are trans. They could end the show as a tomboy girl. Even if it's not that, it's learning that they can be feminine without putting down other women. a lot of trans people spend so much time making their body match their minds. then neglect making their minds match their new body. They look like the gender they want to but they are still left with all those insecurities,

"Fine i'll prove it" kiss

i'm obsessed with the head cannon I just made up. the idea that one day lucas got so annoyed with mike not admitting he was gay he proves it to him.

he isn't the type to not call mike out on his bullshit. so they get in the biggest fight in their lives. the argument ends with lucas saying "fuck it, i'll proof it" then kisses mike. causing mike to realize he's gay because even though it had no passion behind it. it's the best kiss he's had.

mike proceeds to gay panic so Lucas takes the opportunity to say " I told you so, now who do you wish actually kissed you" making mike confess to loving Willl

they then make a plan for how mike is going to win Willl's heart. along with how he's going to confess because it has to be romantic af.

after mike and will kiss for the first time. mike accidentally lets it slip that Willl kisses better than lucas. only explaining it as "well someone had to yank me out of the closet. you should appreciate their sacrifice" This makes Willl incredibly confused until he realizes that he can taunt Lucas about it later.

max also thinks it's the funniest shit ever and laughed when Lucas said he did it. He had joked about it before and she said he could. she didn't think he would go through with it she will taunt mike about this for the end of time.

Steve and his Rolly Chair

I'd like to think Steve constantly carries around a rolly chair to chill in. Cronic pain is the main reason why, this guy definitely ended up disabled. Rolly chairs are fun and less intimidating as a wheel chair. he's also stubborn and would never admit to being disabled.

it started as him doing at the hideout and his found family houses. now we basically always have it in his trunk for bed days. Constantly kicking off walls to move around. it's caused him to be more active because before just standing around would exhaust him.

Is it obvious who Past Dudley is vs who now Dudley is? I think it is but I can't tell because I already know who says and does what.

Dementors scene

Dudley is flung onto his back as a dementor flies above him. Swelling pain rushes as his back hits the ground. It’s quickly replaced with something even worse. His whole body feels as if it’s on fire as thick grey smoke flows out of his mouth and into the dementors. 

Scene fades to black

Dudley looks around confused and wonders why he is so small and how he got in here. He goes to open the door but it’s locked. That’s when he hears a noise, Past Dudley stomping on the stairs above him. The sound makes the room feel even smaller than before as the sound vibrates throughout the room. A terrifying realization hits him.

He stays frozen in that spot until he hears the sound of a door unlocking. He immediately sprints to the door, opening it and leaving the room. Unfortunately he’s immediately shoved into the wall by Past Dudley. It hurts significantly more than Dudley expected it to. Mostly because his body is now covered in bruises and his ribs are broken. This is also when he notices how hard it is to breath with broken ribs. 

“Hey, wtf” dudly yells in defense

“What did you just say to me? You are below me. Act like it.” Past Dudley says as he slams his foot down on Dudleys chest. 

Pinning him to the ground and sending more spikes of pain throughout his chest. Even with his foot just sitting on his chest hurts. Constantly sending sprouts of pain throughout his body. 

“Dad do something” dudley calls out desperate

“What did you just call me, Past dudley move over so i can teach him a lesson”  Past Vernon

“No, he’s mine. You can have him after I'm finished.” Past dudley wines

Past Dudley continues to press harder and harder on his chest. His eyes fill with an evil, gleeful smile as Dudley screams in pain. After what feels like hours, Past Dudley gets bored and goes into the kitchen. Past Vernon comes over and picks dudley up by his shirt. Pushing him against the wall of the hallway

“Now you listen to me you ungrateful brat. You are nothing, you are worthless. I’m not your father and I never will be. You are nothing but a disgusting mistake.” Past Vernon says with pure hatred in his eyes as if he’s expecting a response

When he doesn’t get a response he slams Dudley into the wall again. 

“Say it, you are nothing, you are worthless, your nothing but a disgusting mistake” Past Vernon sners at him

“You are….” dudleys cut off by vermon slamming him into the wall causing his head to hit the wall so hard it the world starts spinning and everything gets so bright it burns his eyes.

“ don’t you dare sass me boy, or are you just that dumb. I’ll dumb it down since your brain doesn’t seem to be working. you say, "I am worthless, I am nothing but a disgusting mistake” over pronounces the I in each sentence. 

‘I am worthless, i am nothing but a disgusting mistake” dudley replies his voice shaking 

“Good you finally know your place,i’ve decided you aren’t needed today”  Past Vernon drags dudley by his hair into the room. 

Dudley lays on the ground a sobbing mess. He shoves his head in a pillow when Past Dudley starts complaining about how annoying it is. Scared that he would go tell Past Vernon on him. Questioning everything he’s ever known. 

Scene fades to black

and he wakes up to see the dementors gone. Harry stood in front of him, his wand out. He runs after the Dementor, quickly disappearing from Dudley's view. He’s left contemplating why Harry would save someone as bad as him. The pain he feels physically will never fully go away but it’s nothing compared to what he feels emotionally.

i'm obsessed with the idea of non redeemed Draco accidentally giving people good advice mid insult. he might be a jerk but he tells his version of the truth type of vibes.

when he finds out Harry is being abused by the dursleys he goes the taunt him about it.

“You're pathetic pppottah, you complain about how terribly they treat you and yet you just let it happen. Do you think you deserve it or something? “ Draco sneers at harry

“ what no”  Harry argues back

“then act like it, a fight between muggle and wizards should always end with the wizard winning. They are weaker than us, we have magic. Only a pathetic excuse for a wizard would loose to muggles"

“Did you forget I can’t use magic on them” Harry points out

“And there it is. I should have known it was something pathetic like that. There are plenty of ways around that. Potions for example you absolute simpleton.” Draco taunts

“No way that would work”

“Oh it would. by the time wizards would even suspect something. Their bodies would have already absorbed the potion. I recommend a strong poison. Or if you're still stupid enough to show them mercy, a simple charm spell would surface. I don't know why i'm even surprised you didn't think of it. I mean you are from the muggle world. that's what they do, raise weak people. "

leaving Harry stunned because it's insulting and unbelievably bigoted but also the best advice he's gotten from anyone about this situation.

He learns neville isn't good at magic. tells him he's as useful as a squib, wait no squibs are more useful than him because at least they know their place. He calls him a pathetic excuse for a wizard that should stop wasting time studying magic when it's never going to work. find a way to be useful without magic or get out of the way.

as insulting as it is, it's still good advice. so he takes it and starts practicing how to fight and exist as a muggle. that's what ends up helping neville become the type of person who finds the sword of Gryffindor.
