While the cadet performed well in most group assignments, he didn’t necessarily prefer them over doing the work himself. The positives to it were the fact that he could talk with others and perhaps all of the responsibility to get the work done wasn’t all on him. Chatting up new and old faces had its perks, for not everything attainable was centered around who could do what best in the social sphere of cadets. This, Vace looked at as just another opportunity to bond with his fellow classmates, or at least see what he can get out of them for gaining their favor.

So when the partner in question comes knocking on his door, he is more than prepared to be agreeable. The door slid open to a smiling face. “ Hey, Mitkade–the project, yes, we should get started on that. Did you want to work on this in one of the lounge rooms? ”

   Looks like Paesario and Vace were after the same thing. Favors. 

   Paesario’s lips upturned into a polite, but reserved smile, “Hello,” He started before answering the question with a nonchalant, relaxed shrug, “Whichever you like is fine with me, I’m not picky at all.”

   He procured his datapad from under his arm and scroll through the rubric of the assignment, “So, History,” He stated, “We have to write a report on a major era in history. I was thinking of The clone wars, but, if you had a different Idea, I’m more than open,” He looks up to give his partner an expected but calm look. 

   Externally, he looked perfectly normal, a bit tired, but normal. Internally, he was hyper focused on every little action he performed. He worried he came off as artificial, a robot, or inhuman. That is not what he wanted. no, not at all.
