Fandomless SciFi Still a space pirate, just generic. He still gambled away his family fortune and he's still stealing in hopes to get it back.

Ace Attorney Verses Early years--he's about nineteen, being a nuisance, originally from Khura'in, but he has visited the States for leisure/education. Mommy and daddy bail him out if he gets into trouble. Adult years (learns nothing) Straddling somewhere between being the archetypal Gentleman Thief and an outright crook, the masked Crimson Corsair appears in California to terrorize annoy wealthy San Franciscans and Silicon Valley. He quickly learns that the most valuable hauls do not always glitter.

A familiar scoff precedes the opening of floodgates. "Look, man, I'm going to be honest with you--this is probably the stupidest issue I've had to call you for, but oh well, I guess the cops like busting your balls. They wanna DEPORT me for setting off fireworks that aren't even mine, but since I was there with my bUdDiEs, it's my fault!"

"Wow, I didn't think you had anything to hide. I'm a big boy, you know, I can handle a few choice words. Nevertheless..."

It takes him no time at all to free the watch and not his hands from their binds. He shoves the man's head down unceremoniously and reaches into his jacket, searches his pockets, tosses his keys aside, rifles through his wallet.

"Hello..."

Vace takes a moment to read the I.D. among the cards. The name looks familiar in text, but he isn't sure why.

Oh well. He's not looking to commit fraud this time. After taking what cash the man has, he turns to her.

"Okay, I'm out. You sure you don't need anything else? A barrel of tar and feathers? Maybe a long kiss goodbye?"

There aren't a lot of special abilities at Vace's disposal. He is astronomically lucky in a way that most have never seen before, but he doesn't control that. In the Star Wars universe, it's how the Force moves through him like a conduit of fate. In other universes, there is no explanation above table, but he still experiences life the way the Mutant Domino would.

So what does he have going for him besides that? He's a good marksman by practice. He was trained at a young age with firearms in case the rules of society broke down and he would have to defend his family house with his life. Ironically, he would be the very thing to threaten its existence with his bad behavior and talent.

He's also smart, but lacks good judgment and it hinders his ability to express his capabilities. Should he be determined to get something done, known, et cetera, it becomes apparent that he could be far more capable than he cares to be. He's often lazy. He doesn't like to think hard because of the pressures his parents exerted over his academic and social life. Of his two siblings, he suffers from the "gifted kid burnout" the most--despite being younger and less repressed. With a little thought and luck, he's dangerous.

His capacity for evil is... Kind of an a thing? Though he is a hard line anti-slavery, anti-evil-for-the-sake-of-evil, he still does and has done pretty awful things to people. He's hurt and tortured people, and if desperate enough, killed them. There's no illusions about it being a bad thing--he just excuses it as a lesser of evils or even necessary for his own survival. Combined with the fact that he can and will do everything in his power to get what he wants, one can see where the danger comes in. It isn't a positive talent, but being able to do what others would morally abstain from puts him ahead in a rat race.

You are the explorer. You are the one who is in love with the wonders of the world around you. You see it for what it is, and how it can be better. For all of the wanderlust you carry, you are always drawn to your idea of home, back to comfort and a place you know. But just as you are drawn to it, you are always drawn away again, carried off by your flights of fancy and ambitions that cannot be contained within the comforts of a safe place. You push the boundaries of the map, you discover new places and wonders, but be careful not to forget yourself in the process, or lose sight of your safe haven. Remember to take your sights away from your ambitions from time to time and give attention to what really matters.

I think I could do better with the AA verse, especially since Vace had some serious delinquency issues at college age. He got away with it quite a bit bc of his parents paying paying people off. I wouldn't be surprised if they hired attorneys to handle his mishaps. You will protect our little angel or you will have your life ruined.

As he inhales quietly, the muffled screams of their captive paint an ugly picture of crime and punishment. It is no concern of his why she picked this victim beyond the fact that he is loaded with unnecessary jewelry and accessories (nice style!) and a scumbag. That's enough for him, and if he can get a Rolex out of it, then it's worth the trouble.
