Only the surface stuff, obviously not all the comics backstory, this reminds me of the alien Chantho in Doctor Who. A timid Asian (bug alien) woman who served an older white man that she likes. Then it turns it he’s the villain, literally named the Master (not that this name is part of the racism, just a coincidental parallel).
