“Never someone interesting in that condition before.”
“And what’s so interesting?”
“That’s the second time that someone has asked me about appearance.” Kurt said with a raised eyebrow. “I’m someone with blue fur, glow in the dark eyes, and a tail.”
“Doesn’t mean you can’t still judge.”
❝Actually, I’ve been far too long in a wheelchair, unable to walk myself. Just wandering if you’d like a hand?❞
Welp. Was snapping at a handicapped man an okay thing if you were handicapped too? “Quite alright, sir. Thank you.”
Scout didn’t think she’d be able to deal with other adults being dumb once she reached that age- dealing with kids in her group was hard ENOUGH without the hope of everyone eventually out-growing the lack of common sense/ ability to understand basic things.
“Butterfly. Right. Sorry kid, had something else on my mind. You got a name?” She was cute. A reminder of what he could never have. Still cute though.
“It’s simple. You tell someone Venom’s not dead, you be become an unperson. And my lunch.”
“ The butterfly count on your head has stead-ly been increasing over the past ten minutes- I was wondering when you were gonna notice. “
“What”
“What’s a matter? Never see someone with no legs before?”
