Agent Nathan William Sanders is a Level 5/Level Green technician and weapon engineer working for SHIELD.
He had lost his right leg during the attack on the helicarrier in 2012 and three yeas after that had lost his left pinky and half of his ring finger because of a weapon prototype test gone wrong.
Nathan suffers from social anxiety disorder and his best friend is his albino ball python Sunny that lives in his workshop at SHIELD.

"You've been so sad that your favorite shirt got ruined. I tried to fix it but it seems I'm not good with sewing fabric. But I'm good with engineering and creating things put of metal and wires and such. So I made you this."
Emrys smiled slightly, taking the shirt from Nathan and holding it up. "I dont deserve you." He set the shirt down away from his paints and stood, wrapping his arms around his husband and kissing him softly. "But youre mine now and im not giving you back."
"You can't give me back because there's no refund on anxious engineers." Nathan joked. "I might have two more of this chain vest for you."
Emrys kissed Nathan again. “Yeah? Got me more presents?”
"I've made two other chain vests. But the question is if it's a present for you or for me since I'm the one who gets to see you wearing them without a shirt underneath." He smirked
"Oh you got plans for me huh." Emrys chuckled. "Am I allowed to wear pants or is this a no pants sorta date?"
"You are allowed to wear pants. But it's optional to keep them on." He kissed Emrys cheek. "What are you working on? He asked and looked over at the painting
Emrys hummed. "Knowing how you get when I wear mesh I dont imagine they'd be on long." He leaned back against Nate, eyes focused back on the painting. "Just...trying to get my feelings out." He frowned. "Just been feeling off lately."
"Just like you get when I'm getting sweaty during my leg training or work. Also you can't judge me. I'm only human. I might be super smart but I still have my needs." Nathan answered.
"Do you want to talk about it with me?" He asked looking at the painting
"I do love when you get all sweaty." Emrys hummed and shrugged. "I dont even know what its about. Just know that I dont feel like myself."
"You know I'm always here for you. I know how hard it can be with all the thoughts and feelings in your head. But you're not alone. You got me. Never forget that." Nathan said in a soft and understanding way and kissed Emrys head.
Emrys smiled. "I love you so much Nathan." He leaned back to kiss Nathan softly. "And look, I'm being all healthy and shit by painting my feelings instead of punching something. Are you proud of me baby?"
"Love, I'm always proud of you." Nathan answered with a smile.
Emrys laughed. "That makes one of us. What do you think? More yellow or more red?'
"You can and you should be proud of you too." He smiled and looked at the painting again. "Hmm...what about some green? Or orange?"
Emrys hummed, tilting his head and dipping his paint into a burnt orange color. "Like this orange or brighter?"
"No, that orange looks good." Nathan answered. "After you're done with the painting, do you want to see the other two body chains I made?"
“scientists don’t want you know” is a phrase that always cracks me up because if you actually meet a scientist they will be shaking and crying like an overstimulated chihuahua with the need to let you know
