I think the network & council were great ideas. I think it’s everyone’s big head and want for more power & control that ruined it all. It wasn’t about helping the communities anymore, it turned into who got a say, who controlled what, and who could have the most members/ the most communities. The original intent was lost from this blog as soon as the first person refused to be listed unless I agreed not to list l!lt0ts, and then it was just a mess from there. I know this blog ended up contributing to a lot of the discourse, the network & council were the biggest mistake I’ve ever made, and I’m so sorry to everyone who was hurt as a result.
But I feel like the blog I originally tried to have is still necessary, and since my return to regression tumblr was with minimal drama I felt I had to restart this. I just want to help, honestly.
