so you know how in normal P5(R) Confidant Rank Ups, the Confidant themselves usually has a line of dialogue or two that often serves as a cue/indicator for a rank up (i.e. is followed by "I feel like my bond with [person] is getting deeper")? I think the hilarious thing about Goro Akechi in P5R is that, because the events that were part of his original Confidant are still present in the story, a lot of his dialogue lines that might otherwise be interpreted as cues or lead ups to a Rank Up (as they were in p5 vanilla) now just read as. imo extraneously intimate and gay? It's funny as fuck

on a similar note, it's interesting you can still sort of tell which scenes, even in Royal, were originally written to be a part of his P5 automatic Confidant, because specific scenes in the main story very much center Akechi and specifically his interactions with Joker, regardless of the presence of other characters

TL;DR - since the manual Justice Confidant rank events from P5R do not replace, but instead coexist alongside the og auto Justice Confidant story events from P5, Akechi might come off as... twice as friendly with the Protagonist?

After not using tumblr for so so long, I’m back at the recommendation of a few friends. I originally had planned on posting art here when I first made my account, and mayyybe I still will? But honestly im mostly here just to lurk and look at cool fandom stuff.
