Sometimes, Mike can’t tell if Harvey’s a vampire or just a sadist.
“For fuck’s sake, Harvey, you’ve got to be kidding me!”
Mike had just come back from a client meeting — one where he’d stubbornly kept silent every time someone asked about the sudden appearance of marks all over his neck. The irony was that the man responsible for them wasn’t about to give him peace even now.
Notes: Lexical repetitions. A lot.
Harvey loves Mike. He loves him with a sincerity that still surprises him, with a tenderness he never thought himself capable of. He is not the kind of man who plays games with feelings, nor someone who lets go easily. When Harvey gives, he gives everything — his time, his loyalty, his heart...if only to make Mike feel safe. He realized this later than he would like to admit, well into his forties, after years of building the image of a man too composed and untouchable to be shaken by something as reckless as love.
Harvey loves Mike and at first he doesn’t realize how strong that love is — a love that seems to have sprung out of nowhere. Harvey didn’t mean to fall for him. At first it was just a glance that lingered too long across the bullpen. Then another. Mike’s face would light up when he told some half-ridiculous story or cracked a joke only he found funny, and Harvey found himself waiting for it, hungry for that spark. One look became another, and suddenly he couldn’t imagine going a day without hearing Mike’s voice or standing close enough to brush against him, pretending it was nothing.
Harvey loved people for their openness and sincerity of soul. Mike was like that. Mike drew him in like a fisherman who had cast a great net into the sea and was eager for a good catch. And Mike himself was quite a catch: the innocent light in his eyes captivated Harvey no less than his radiant smile. Mike is simple in a way Harvey envies, not shallow but unpretentious, as if the whole city couldn’t corrupt him. And Harvey, the man who prides himself on never showing weakness, wants to tuck that simplicity away and keep it safe where no one else can reach.
Harvey loves the way Mike is unfiltered at work, how he challenges him, argues with him, even risks pissing him off. Around others Mike can be bold, quick-tempered, brilliant in ways Harvey secretly admires. But when it is just the two of them late nights in Harvey’s office or in the quiet of his apartment Mike softens. His sharp edges blur and Harvey finds himself holding a version of Mike no one else ever gets to see.
He loves the calm that comes with a touch: a hand at the back of his neck, fingers laced together under the conference table, a fleeting brush of knees on Harvey’s leather couch. The contact grounds Mike, and Harvey feels it too — the way Mike leans closer as if Harvey’s warmth could shield him from the world outside.
He loves how Mike pulls out his phone to film something ridiculous in the elevator just to get a rise out of him. Mike’s laughter (usually over something dumb) echoes through the empty hallway, and Harvey, who isn’t known for laughing, can’t help but let it slip out, if only for him. He loves how easily Mike lets Harvey derail his plans with a single look, a low-voiced request.
Harvey loves seeing a sleepy Mike in the morning at his apartment, who gets up early to brew coffee just to make Harvey happy. Then Harvey walks in, sits at the counter, and simply watches Mike until he finally turns to face him. A warm smile appears on his face, meant only for him and no one else. No one dares to encroach on his happiness.
Harvey loves drinking coffee on the balcony and sitting Mike on his lap, enjoying the steady hum of the city below. Then Mike rests his left hand on Harvey’s knee and covers his colder one with the other, repeating the gesture every single time.
Harvey loves the brief texts that come late at night, two words 'love you❤️' sent when they’re apart.
Harvey loves when Mike is obedient. When he’s obedient in conversation and in sex. Harvey likes to dominate him, to whisper dirty words in his ear in that pleasant baritone and to bite. To bite hard, until there are bruises, until Mike whimpers and struggles like a stray puppy. And Harvey holds him. Holds him by the elbows, pressing him close from behind, biting his neck almost to blood, accompanied by muffled moans.
Harvey has loved Mike for several years now and doesn’t believe that love only lasts three years. His love for Mike will live long. He’s no longer a boy whose feelings shift with the wind. His love has settled in deep, immovable, permanent.
Harvey loves Mike when he gets embarrassed. He, a grown thirty-two-year-old man, melts like a teenage girl when Harvey starts whispering in his ear words of fiery love that don’t belong to his strong personality.
Harvey loves Mike, and the very thought makes him smile, genuinely. Of course, it happens when he’s alone with himself and his own soul, but honestly, he couldn’t care less.
Harvey loves.

I swear, all Mike wanted to do in that scene was grab Harvey’s chest
... you think his hand looks like that by accident? 🖐️
Mike, be like:
God forbid men experience second puberty
for @tishparc
that did NOT happen
never has harvey ever sent me a dick pic nor has he tried to
First of all, that’s not true. Second, it was a long time ago
first of all, yes it is. second, i have an eidetic memory, and i do not recall this happening.
Funny how your perfect eidetic memory fails exactly here.
funny how you have no damn proof and im a lawyer that can get you sued for slander.
Wait… does that mean we’re actually meeting irl? like… sued is face-to-face, right ?👀 Sooo is this basically a date?? ngl you’re lowkey cute the way you ask me out like that
Can’t wait for the lawsuit 💋
i’m scared and very very gay.
i will sue you face-to-face with harvey alongside me, yk, the man i am in love with.
i am not asking you out, i’m suing you.
i cant wait either 💋✨
Oh, sweetheart, calling this a date assumes you’d even make it past Harvey’s glare. You wouldn’t. Mike isn’t yours to flirt with — he belongs in Harvey’s corner, and frankly, that’s way out of your league. So do yourself a favor: drop the cute act before I really embarrass you
@mikeross-theassociate don’t worry Mike I have your back
So somehow, in this story, I ended up as the OFC in a random marvey fanfic....

ⓘ Tip You can skip part of the day by taking a nap.
⚠︎ Tip
Nap lengths are always randomised.
⚠︎ Tip
Naps can be initialized anywhere, but doing so during work meetings may trigger an unskippable cutscene
ⓘ Tip
If you repeatedly use the nap function you may be able to skip a prolonged period of time. Beware of over use, for you may find the seasons have changed.
omg yes exactly 💀 !!! today I woke up from a two-hour nap and the first thing I asked my boyfriend was "what day of February is it"… like?? why February?? (it’s AUGUST now, isn’t it?)
...and honestly… why did I even ask that??
⚠︎ Tip
so never nap during the day. It feels exactly like wake up of anesthesia.
how life feels when you go alone to see a fun movie and when you leave the cinema the sun is still out
how life feels when you go alone to see a movie that really just hit you deeper than expected and resonated with you in some kind of way and when you leave the cinema the sun has just set
10 year-old me walking out of the movie theater, having fully absorbed the coolest movie character’s persona, absolutely convinced that from now on I’m going to act exactly like him.
