Solnhofen shrimp (Upper Jurassic), featuring fan favorites Aeger spinipes, Antrimpos speciosus and Dusa monocera and pisces indet..
I have lost my sanity over drawing shrimp legs, so I will be drawing legless animals for a while.

i wish there was inaturalist but for like. fossils. see a map of fossil sites all over the world. i also want to be able to click somewhere on a map, set a time frame and then see what animals would have lived there at that time.
I have good news for you
Actually, there is a project currently ongoing in the Netherlands, trying to do this!
By using AI image recognition, they are working on an app, akin to inaturalist or obsidentify, which would be able to recognize Pleistocene fossils (mainly isolated mammal bones) along the Dutch coast!
Afaik they are currently in the training phase and collecting a bunch of pictures of fossils. The actual app is unfortunately not developed yet, but hopefully more news on it follows soon!

Hupehsuchus shows of its gullet. This Early Triassic marine reptile is thought to have been a filter feeder, based upon similarities in their cranial & mandibular anatomy compared to modern filter feeding whales.

Hey guys, I’d like to become a paleo-artist when I’m older. Do you think that would be possible? (I’m currently 15 years old and I’m trying to draw 2 hours (at least) a day)
Wow, these are some of my really old drawings! Currently I'm studying geology with a focus on paleontology and I still draw and paint! Here's an update on some of my current paleoart:
Young me really thought I would have the time to draw 2 hours a day lmao. Thank you all for the compliments and kind words!
I've been making some lino prints as of late
