I'm Cookie (she/her), a 25 year old digital illustrator and video game enthusiast. You can find my personal blog at @hd-cookie (I'll follow from here!) and my art blog at @laureliere You can find me other platforms through my caard!

This blog was created as I read the item descriptions of the game, and my love of story telling, thus my need to illustrate my own characters for this game-universe (my icon is of my sheep character Magda) and write a little. You'll likely find my stuff has lore sprinkled in!

Redraw of my first follower, Uriah, once a warrior of the Darkwood that was recruited by Magda upon her escape from being sacrificed. He's a quiet and dependable sort, a merciless warrior that does not hesitate. Not many behold the tenderness as he holds for his leader. In my first playthrough, I hadn't made Uriah a spouse as at the time as I hadn't an skull pendant and hadn't unlocked the wedding doctrine.

So I interpret Uriah's and Magda's relationship of one as undying loyalty throughout Magda's rise to godhood. A god and their first follower. And a love realized too late. With Magda only realizing Uriah's affections upon his death (be it by age or by being slain by an enemy) before Uriah is repaid for his (unhealthy) devotion to become truly immortal.

Can you believe it's been 4 years since I first drew Magda? Well, now I have a bit more confidence in drawing animals, and I think it's a good time to revamp and edit her design!
