A/N: ok so this was seriously a dream that i had. the story is kinda twisted around a little bit because i forgot some of it. after this dream, i had MAJOR sammy feels! *Y/N'S POV* (setting:Thursday at school. Friday is the dance) Sammy was my bestfriend. The winter dance was coming up and he was currently going with Sarah. Sarah was one of the prettiest and most popular girl in are grade, so it was no figure he was going with her. While there's me on the other hand, not well known around school, and not one of the prettiest. So it was pretty odvious that no one asked me to the dance, and no one was going to ask me. My friend, Julia, and I were walking to lunch. She just recieved a text from someone saying the Sarah and Sammy weren't going to the dance together. This made me happy because I might actually have a date this year to the dance, if Sammy asks me. "I'm gonna ask Sammy to the dance", says Julia. "No, I want to ask him because other guys will atleast ask you. You are pretty and everyone knows you, unlike me", I reply. "Then I guess we'll just have to see who asks him first", Julia says, going to sit with her other friends. I walk over to where Sammy and his other friends are. On my way over there, I think to myself. Why would Sammy want to go with me? He only sees me as a friend so its worthless to even ask him. I should just let someone else ask him. This kinda puts me in a bad mood. I take a seat across from Sammy. My thoughts caused me to loose my appetite, not wanting to even eat. "What's wrong y/n?", asks Sammy. "Nothing", I reply, faking a smile. "Hey, you wanna go to my house after school?", Sammy says. "Uh, sure", I reply, even though I just want to go home and watch Netflix with a pizza. * After school at Sammy's house* I walk in his house, throw my background on the ground, and take a seat on his couch. His parents' are at work, so it's just me and Sammy. Sammy takes a seat next to me, turning on the television. "So who are you going to the dance with?", Sammy asks. "Nobody", I reply. Him asking that question kinda made me mad about my thoughts earlier. "Who you going with?", I asked him. "I'm thinking of asking Julia", he replies. Figures. By now I'm really mad because I wanted to be the one to go to the dance with Sammy (not supposed to be in a selfish way). Didn't he see I was right here, he could just ask me now. I don't care if its romantic, I just want to go with him. "WANT TO KNOW WHAT. YOU SHOULD ASK JULIA EVEN THOUGH I'M RIGHT HERE. I WANTED THIS TO BE THE FIRST DANCE I ACTUALLY HAD A DATE WITH. AND I WANTED IT TO BE YOU BECAUSE I FREAKIN LOVE YOU", I yelled at him. I can't believe I just said that. Holy shit what am I going to do. So shocked by my words, I grab my backpack and run home. When I get home, I run to my beedroom and slam my door shut, locking it. I sit against the door and just cry. I can't believe that I ruined my friendship with my only best friend. *next morning* School. I really don't want to go after what happened yesterday. I tell my mom "I don't feel good" even though I just don't want to go. Luckily, she agrees with me, calling the school saying "I'm sick". *before dance* Julia called me and told me that she didn't ask Sammy to go to the dance with her. She asked me if I would go with her as friends, which I agreed to. I wore a white sundress and brown sandals, it was the fanciest thing I had. I curled my hair and wore light make-up. We live in Texas so it really didn't feel like winter, even though it was a winter dance. Julia picked me up and we went to the dance. I tried to avoid Sammy as much as possible, not even looking around for him. I had to pee so I made my way to the bathroom. Bad idea because guess who I ran into? Sammy. Yipee. I tried to walk away but he pushed me against the wall. "The feeling is mutual", he says before kissing me. I pull away after a couple of seconds. What the fuck just happened. I can't stop staring at him. "Will you be my girlfriend, y/n?", Sammy asks. "I'd love to", I say before kissing him. We ended up skipping the rest of the dance. There was a fair going on in the next town over. Sammy drove us over there and we rode all the rides, and shared a funnel cake before going over to his house to sleep. I slept in one of his hoodies and sweatpantsthat he gave me. I just still can't believe that I am now dating my bestfriend. A/N: i hope you guys like it. sorry if there is some spelling/grammar errors. but this was seriously a dream and it was awesome.
