It's my 13 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳
Haven’t posted in a while but here we are. 13 years later and things have turned out somewhat differently than I could ever have imagined. 13 is now a number that I embrace. Life is a dream but also hard work.
But ultimately I think it may be time to close off my tumblr. Not sure if I’ll keep it as a memory bank. Only time will tell.

It doesn’t mean that the love once shared wasn’t true or real.
I never told you this, but sometimes I just sit there and imagine all the little scenarios of us in my head. Basic things like watching movies, cuddling, doing late night food runs, have deep conversations, and taking random trips. I just miss you and want to be with you.
Four Years of Forever.
He wore a varsity jacket.
I wore pyjamas.
It was lust at first sight.
We shared a block of chocolate and exchanged lustful glances.
Before long, lust turned to love.
Soulful gazes were kept.
Hands were secretly held.
Kisses were stolen.
I love you’s were whispered.
Naked limbs were intertwined.
He was my forever and always. Until one afternoon he wasn’t.
Part of me thought that love could be enough. But it wasn’t. Our love was finite.
Four years later.

On Sunday 5th June 2022, I came home from Rachel & Patrick's wedding. Coming home early (before midnight, like Cinderella) from a night of celebrating love, I didn't realise I would soon find some of my own. Or at least what I thought was love.
Nicco had matched with me. And so our story began.
We hit it off right away, and I stayed up late chatting with him. And, yes, I initially thought he wasn't the best guy, but I knew there was something special there and I wanted him, even for just a few minutes. Little did I know that this was just the beginning.
Fast forward through the week ahead and I can't get him out of my mind. He's cute, he's funny, he's a reader and a writer, and we share the same morals and opinions on so much. I had never felt this compatibility on an intellectual level with any other guy. But he was also so very cute. And I wanted him more & more each day.
It hit hard when he asked me what I was after, because I knew the answer to that question was him. Little did I know he had other intentions. We still carried on though, because I wanted him that badly. And I recall telling him that if we're meant to be it'll happen someday. And I meant that with every cell in my being.
A week later, on a Monday long weekend, we met up for drinks at Starbucks. He was tall, gorgeous and smelt great. I liked how easy everything was with him. It felt like I had known him forever. There was nothing to hide from him. Or so I thought. That's probably why I let him do things to me.
Late nights in the middle of june
The right person will know how to hold your love. The right person will choose you just as deeply as you choose them. You will not have to quiet the way you care, you will never feel like you are too much. You will not have to beg for the love you deserve. One day, you will be met where you are. One day, you will be someone's favorite thing, and you will not be confused — you will not feel like you are fighting for someone who isn't fighting for you. One day, you will understand that it never mattered how tightly you held on to the wrong people, how intensely you tried, because the right people were always going to find you. The right people were always going to stay.
