Late Summer 1890
Lillian spent most of her pregnancy inside the house,
she and Otto only went out once during the pregnancy it was a very simple trip to town, Even though it was a simple affair she was still very glad to get out of the house as she knew that once she had this child, she would not be able to go out much.
Lillian wasn't able to sleep after she confirmed her suspicions instead; she just waited in till Otto awoke when he finally did and stood up, he looked at her "Morning love how'd you sleep?" He asked her she played with her hair as he talked, he noticed it and knew that something was wrong with his wife, so he asked another question "My love are you alright?"
She decided it was time to tell him, "I'm with child Otto." As soon as he heard what she said he immediately began touching her stomach he couldn't believe it he was to be a father finally.

Currently Reading: A Journey to the New World by Kathryn Lasky. I’ve been feeling very nostalgic lately and I grew up with the Dear America/ Royal Diaries so I decided to go back and read some of them and so far they still are as good as they were when I was a kid so yay!😁 for that
Current Obsession: The late Victorian era I know big surprise specifically about Immigration to the Americas from other continents as that’s how my ancestors came over here so I’ve been having a lot of fun learning about how different immigrants were treated it’s very interesting

Hot take, if the way the time period isn't portrayed isn't exactly perfect. That's fine. It's literally just pixels, and not all of us are history professionals/ experienced writers.

Summer 1890
Lillian couldn't sleep even with her husband right next to her she couldn't do it, so she got out of the bed and looked at herself in the mirror and she then looked down at her nightgown she saw what used to be a nightgown that didn`t even touch her stomach but now it hugged her belly she touched her tummy for a second. And she knew that the suspicions that she had for weeks were true she was with child.
Even though Otto spent most of his time working on the farm, he always tried to be done with his work before Lillan had finished supper
and spend the rest of that night with his Love even if it meant doing less work on the farm that day.

During the first few months of marriage Lillian and Otto kept themselves very busy on the farm and the inside, the house hadn't been redecorated since Otto's childhood so when Lillian moved in Otto gave her full control over the old farmhouse and that's exactly what she did.
As Otto and Lillian walked into their new home Otto picked up his wife "Otto!" Lillian screeched "What my love I'm just holding my wife." said Otto Lillian then looked at her husband and said, "You are too sweet for me." "Now that my love is complete untrue if anything I should be sweeter to you." As Otto finished his sentence, he kissed his wife for the first time in their home,
as he was kissing her, he carried her upstairs to their bedroom, so they wedding night could really begin.

Dear diary my sweet daughter is five months old, and she is the most beautiful child that anyone could ever imagine I love her so much. And I wish she could've known her sweet sister Elsa. But I know that Louemma will at some point have siblings and I cannot wait for that day. I have also been feeling quite sick lately I do hope it passes as Oscar has had to do a lot, he says he doesn't mind but I do feel quite bad about it. Now diary I must go as I need a nap and so does Louemma. Camilla A McDaniel.
Dear Alberta thank you so much for sending all of the gifts for the new baby especially the rug. I am currently writing to you while my little girl is sleeping in her crib, she is the most stunning baby if I do say so now dear sister, I'm sure you are anxiously awaiting to hear your sweet niece's name,
well, me and Oscar decide on Louemma Mae McDaniel my sweet daughter was born on February 10th, 1891, she looks just like her Daddy, and she was born with a head full of blonde hair. I am doing quite well so don`t you worry about me dear sister my labor was easy and they were no complications my very nice neighbor Venus helped me she also has a little girl named Bird. I shall end my letter here dear sister as I must go feed Louemma. Your dear sister Camilla A McDaniel
My dear sister I write to tell you the most fantastic news I have just found out that I am with child!
I am very excited but also very worried although I know there was nothing, I could do about the situation with my dear Elsa but I still worry that it will happen again, so I ask you dear sister to pray for mine and my upcoming child's health. I am very thankful that I have not had as bad of sickness that I had with my last, as a result I hope that means that this baby will live as long as the Watcher has decided for them, also I must mention of how good and caring of a husband Oscar has been during this whole ordeal he is treating me with the must grace and kindness even after his extremely long and difficult days in the mine. I shall end this latter here as I'm becoming very exhausted and must go rest before supper. Your dear sister Camilla A McDaniel.
Dear diary we have made it to West Virginia it is nice I suppose our cabin is small, smaller than I'm used to, but Oscar has said I will get used to it so I suppose I shall try. I do so wish my little Elsa was here and my Gabriel, but I shall not think of that as I am now married to sweet Oscar who is so caring and loves me so much and I shall focus on him and not the past as he is my future. So, from now on I vow that every time I write I will say one good thing about my husband Oscar McDaniel. Well diary I must go make supper now so goodbye for now love Camilla A McDaniel.
My dear sister Alberta I write to you from a train going to West Virginia. Me and my new husband got married right after we got too New York I will attach some photographs we were able to get taken at the courthouse. Oscar was able to get a job as coal miner the company he will be working for even gave us a house! Can you believe it dear sister I will end my latter here as it is time for supper.
