Queer Eye (2018)
So I found this little detail on my Instagram today and I thought I would share it here. This is the scene in season 3 where El and Max are looking in Billy’s room. And if you noticed what I circled that is a lock on the OUTSIDE of Billy’s door meaning that Neil probably locks Billy in his room as a punishment. I just wanted to share this as another reason I think Billy deserves (yes I am saying deserves he ain’t dead okay) a better life.
This is actually v important and needs to be reblogged
Gonna just share this:
My European Studies professor decided a few weeks ago to take a Friday and instead of following the syllabus, he spent the entire hour and a half comparing Hitler’s actions from a European perspective to that of what Trump is doing in America. He never repeated a single point, and even used video and photos like this to show the comparison.
To make things better, he had us do an in class assignment for participation points. He first played a clip on youtube of one of Hilter’s speeches, subtitled and 3 minutes long. He then played a clip of one of Trump’s rallies. Our assignment? Copy down every single sentence that matched in translation down on a sheet of paper or a word document that wasn’t repeated. The person with the closest amount to what my professor found got a candy bar.
My professor found, in just three minutes of a speech, that Trump matched 65 different phrases/sentences to that of Hitler’s translation.
65 nearly identical phrases used in his speeches. Take a moment to think about that.

The red shirt Billy wears reblog if you agree
no one: absolutely no one: me @ 3 am: billy was a 17-year-old teenager that was abused during his developmental years–suffered abandonment issues and distrust in women (his mom leaving him knowing his father would hit him next); they say psychologically even having the parents separate would cause trauma, adding to the abuse Billy endured… No wonder he acted out in aggression (especially since Neil would never allow Billy to show emotions of vulnerability–just anger and obedience by proxy of fear). Billy made sure that Max was never in the line of abuse the way Neil was towards him (he took the brunt of the abuse and we all know it, because deep down Billy would never want to see Max getting hit the way his mother got hit by Neil). Billy grew up broken, confused, angry, and repressed in being able to express himself healthily. The way he acted out was emulating and imitating his fathers abusive presence… Nothing Billy did was excusable but, I think him being angry at Max was because he didn’t know what Neil would do to Max because it was obvious that Neil is the ignorant, aggressive abuser in the household (most likely the real racist). Billy acted out how he could protect people in an asshole way because he doesn’t know any other (healthy) way. In s3, his projection towards older women who have it ‘together’ is just a coping method to his abandonment issues towards his own mother (i mean if we go by freud standards) so it came as no surprise he’d confuse intimacy and motherly love together (psychologically he didn’t develop an understanding of what motherly love was with Neil around and his mother leaving him at such an early age), so I wasn’t surprised he’d project that onto Mrs. Wheeler. what really hurt me was the fact that when Billy was possessed nobody truly paid enough attention to him to save him (early on), to genuinely make sure he’d be okay, the natural distrust and neglect he experienced as being possessed makes sense why the mindflayer probably loved being inside a broken isolated soul like Billy. And Billy fought, he fought so hard that I imagine his breaking point was not wanting to be idle (while he watched his mom leave) or the causer of pain (like his father) and he broke out of his trauma and possessed self to save everyone… because he wanted to change and fight against a symbolism of abuse and evil (mindflayer)… It just hurts to think when he finally felt himself break free… he died, a 17-year-old abuse victim that finally got hold of his own personal demons to fight off a literal monster and then he just died…
Millenial: “Don’t say g*psy or r*tard. They are slurs, just like the n-word, which you also shouldn’t say.”
Boomer: “More PC crap? They are not slurs you are just a snowflake.”
Gen Z: “Okay Boomer.”
Boomer: “SLUR! That’s a slur and you can’t say that!”
thats exactly what happened
