✧ She flinched at the light smack on her hand before puffing her cheeks out. “It’s okay, I’m fine! I can help!” But she just stood there, unsure. Besides, maybe it’d be a bother for her to cut her hands on the glass anyways.

✧ “Yes, it would be very interesting …” She allowed herself to get lost in thoughts for a while, thinking about what feelings and reactions she would have to finding a flower like that. Wouldn’t it just be wondrous? Then she covered her mouth and cleared her throat. ( with a weak ahem! ) “It’s perfectly fine– my name is Theodore Aster, it’s really nice to meet you.” A smile appeared on her face, features filling with absolute positivity. “Y’know … if I found a flower like that, I don’t think I could resist taking pictures–”

✧ ❝ So, if you were buying a birthday present for an eighteen-year-old friend of yours, what would be the most appropriate gift? ❞

She decided to leave out the part that she was picky and whiny, but that would make things more complicated in the end. She stood looking at a shelf full of things in the middle of the store. ( But at least she wasn’t in anybody’s way, she didn’t have a cart or anything. ) She let out a sigh before turning away from the shelf.

❝ I’m not sure if you heard that– well, either way, don’t mind me, I’ll figure something out. ❞

✧ ❝ That’s super cool! I used to dream about being a photographer, but I’m not sure where I let that go … ❞

She thought a little bit, mostly nostalgically, about her past. She was only a teenager, and things would get harder, but it was still nice to think about the easiest times of all. She snapped out of her daze and re-entered the present.

❝ A-Anyways, I completely understand your rambling. I tend to ramble about my passions too, sometimes! It’s fine! ❞

She just didn’t have the courage to do it strangers, was all.

✧ ❝ You know, I could … ❞

Only if school didn’t get in the way. Then again, she did sometimes have days where she didn’t get that much work … maybe she could start bringing this into her life again! That is, if she could really get back into it.

Upon hearing Shizuka’s request, her features brightened, which was followed by a quick nod.
