ARIANA GRANDE for Wicked: One Wonderful Night
ariana grande attends the winter wonderland: welcome dinner
i probably won’t be around the room much during the day so we can avoid any run-ins. that can be one small perk of us rooming together, i guess. @keeryie
absolutely, and that collective feeling sweeping over an entire audience will always be an exciting thing for me. and even more surreal when it's a project you're part of, right? thank you, that means the world. and well, even though it'll be a bit of a wait, more from that universe is coming, at the least. i'm happy to hear you're feeling better, and you're right that you learn how to better take care of yourself when everything feels a little hectic. my holiday wasn't bad, just the usual time with the family and that's always nice. how about yours? and touring sounds exciting! i know it's probably early for the schedule, but if one of your tour stops includes philly, you'll have to let me know so i can buy tickets. american horror story sounds amazing too, though you can always put your money on anything ryan makes.
that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it? if we’re not touching the audience like that, then what’s the point of what we’re doing? i can be patient but still hoping that it’s not too long of a wait. there’s only so many times i can rewatch the first one before that doesn’t give me the fix i need anymore. thank you and it’s even more perfect timing considering i’m fully 100% for this trip. i’ll be trying to do some things of course but i think anything and everything that’s peak relaxation is going to be priority for me. my holiday was good, too. pretty much the same as yours but it was nice to see my extended family after awhile. the schedule’s out actually and unfortunately, no philly dates but i’ll be pretty close to there so don’t know what it might take to tempt you with a New York City trip. right? the man is brilliant. feeling so lucky to be part of any of his universes.
Hope you know that i’m expecting full ‘johnny time’ so you better believe ready for a lot of hot chocolate and shopping and anything else we might be able to get into the next few days. @jonbaileys
an honor to be in this company.

Wicked: For Good (2025) — dir. Jon M. Chu
i've gotten into 'the studio' this year and while i'm not fully caught up, it makes me so happy knowing you're involved in that. i swear that show is like a who's who and i'm so here for it. i won't ask for spoilers or anything but i do hope i can expect to see your face popping up in more than just that show in the coming future. @industryzoe
oscar's been telling me all about how you both saw 'wicked' and i can't even stress how much that means to me. i've always been such a huge fan so excuse me while i'm fangirling a little here. @industryjchas
everyone is giving you the love for 'stranger things' i know and it's all deserved but i'm still back to you in 'sweeney todd.' we'll have to get some kind of movie-musical group together. @jcbwcrs
it was our pleasure, seriously. both wicked and wicked: for good were phenomenal from start to finish. we both walked out in tears, so... maybe better than phenomenal. and i think i remember hearing somewhere along the way that glinda was a dream role of yours? there's absolutely no doubt you did it every bit of justice plus more. jess and i are already cheering for your oscars, just saying. ah, man, i'm really sorry to hear you got sick during all the madness, but i'm glad you're feeling better in time for the holidays. save all that energy for the norway trip, right? i'm busy, but in the best possible way. jess and i are diving headfirst into house-hunting and i'm preparing for the big question that's coming sooner rather than later, so... hoping to wrap up this year on a high note and start the new one off right.
thank you! and it seems like the tears thing has been a consistent theme. some of the before and after videos people have been posting are too funny. you heard right. i saw 'wicked' on broadway when i was younger and playing that role in any capacity has always been a dream. i just never imagined it'd be this way but i couldn't be happier with how things worked out. oh god, thank you again. i'll be so grateful just to be nominated but it's really the furthest thing from my mind right now. don't worry, i'll be 100% for norway. there's no way i'll be missing that since it's like a dream trip. that's so exciting. congrats on taking that step and hope you guys find your dream home sooner than later. is there anywhere in particular you're looking? depending on where it is, i might have some people who could help with the hunt. stop! oh my god - does that means it's coming before the end of the year? actually, no don't answer me. i won't meddle in your plans. i'll just be waiting patiently for the announcement and to celebrate you both.
alright, fair point -- but just know that i've stood up to the press and fans a few times when it's been needed. i don't do it often, but there's a line and once it's crossed, security guard louis comes out to help. you'll be good with me. we'll keep it to the bare minimum at the moment though, don't need to be adding to the potential out there -- got to be keeping ya safe. once you're all wrapped up with all things wicked, all you've gotta do is let me know and i'm there. i might even need to bring me christmas presents over nearer the time and get ya to help me wrap. i've never been a gift wrapper, and i swear me skills get worse every year. i'll repay you, in any payment you'd like, you just name it babe. it's been a ride and it's pretty exciting, i will admit. looking forward to going back on tour, for sure. are you?
i'll keep that in mind. it might be all i need resume-wise to know you're the man for the job. plus it would be pretty funny considering the fact that i can only imagine what kind of stories that would lead to. thank you though.. for all of this. things are pretty much wrapped up or at least the major things are now that the movie's been out for a bit. wow, so is this your way of admitting that you're really only using me to wrap your gifts? i'm not mad since i actually do like wrapping but just know that i've got an hourly fee. it's pretty high but maybe i can be nice and give you a little discount or cash in in other ways. when do things start up for you? it's pretty much the same case for me. though, i'll admit that i'm a little nervous since it's been awhile since i've toured. .
that's good, i feel the change in weather always makes people sick and then you've had so much on with your movie - which was great by the way. i don't celebrate, i am not american. did you feel better enough for the holidays?
thank you so much! but it was exactly all that. just a lot going on and then a lot of travel so it was bound to happen. oh god, i didn't even realize. i hope you had a good week then at least and i did thankfully. it was pretty perfect timing in that sense.
definitely not the only one bawling your eyes out. though i love experiences like that, being in a crowd and having everyone just feeling the same emotions for that moment. i appreciate that, plus you being a fan of superman and mentioning you can't wait to see what's next for me? don't mind me feeling a little sheepish. i'm happy to hear you're relaxing, and also hope that's made you feel a little better, too. i know what you mean when everything sort of catches up when the promo trail gets a little hectic. plus the holidays means being around family and that always helps too, right? i know i'm always grateful to mine for centering me when i need it. any of these things you can talk about? can't lie that i'm curious what you're working on next.
isn't that part of beauty of movies? it's like what you go to theaters hoping to experience. it's pretty amazing seeing how much that's been the case for this. how could i not be? you were a great superman so obviously hoping for more in that universe but i'll take anything from you in the future. i think relaxing was really what was needed most so happy to say i did just that and am feeling better. it's a shame it happened when it did since now mostly everything for the movie's finished but i guess it'll be a good lesson for me on how to approach everything else i have coming up. how was your holiday? were you able to get centered and enjoy it? oh yeah, of course - there's a few i can. i'll be touring in the new year - first time in about 6 years so really looking forward to that. and then besides that, i have a few movies lined up and then a season of 'american horror story.'
