Stubborn. That was a word that could describe Steve Rogers. There were more, of course, but in that precise moment stubborn was the perfect word to describe him. He had refused to go to the hospital, no matter how insistent the paramedic had been in her recommendation. He hadn’t even let her clean him up, claiming that there were people that needed her attention more. It was true. Most of the victims needed medical attention. All he needed was to get home, have a shower, a rather long one, and sleep a whole day. And that was what he was planning on doing. Until he saw a familiar blonde waiting by the door of his apartment. What was Sharon doing there? He didn’t have the energy to argue. “Sharon,” he greeted, politely. “Whatever it is not now, plea-” Steve never finished the sentence, his vision went blurry, his head started to spin and before he could react, everything went black. And he fell to the floor. Unconcious.
Sharon had no right to be at her ex husbands place, she knew that. However, she just couldn’t give up without trying everything. They hadn’t spoken since the camping trip and she wanted to thank him properly and explain herself. She also wanted to suggest the idea of counseling for them...even if they weren’t together they still needed to work on communication. Maybe with counseling she’d be able to tell him what happened....and maybe with a third party he’d listen. She checked her watch and knocked on his door again. “--- Steve...where are you...” She started to panic a little. Hearing his voice finally she turned around shocked at what she saw. “Steve wha...Steve!” She couldn’t help but yell out as he collapsed onto the ground. “No....no wake up....” She softly patted his cheek. “Steve baby wake up, I need you to wake up..” She felt her voice waver slightly...the thought of something happening to him terrified her. Checking his pulse on his neck, she pulled back her fingers, slightly covered in his blood. “Oh god...what did you do...” She breathed out before pulling out his keys from his pockets desperately trying to find the correct one. After she got the door open, she worked on trying to pull his unconscious body into the living room at least. Getting him on the couch she grabbed whatever first aid kit he had working on stitching and bandaging him up. Once she finished, she just spent the rest of the time pacing, waiting for him to wake up. Often times, she found herself dabbing a cold cloth against his forehead. “Please wake up...” She kept dabbing at his skin softly.
