âVincent, mostly because of the similar powers. Nicholas, well I donât have any reason.â
fahimawilson:
â for the love of dracula i CANNOT leave this place for a week without shit hitting the fan. â
With a quick glance to the fire that had been surrounding him, he pressed his lips together. ââYeah, shit happens and it usually finds me.ââ
†Staring into open flame Something in it had a power.
Headache. If Lysias were to describe his day, the word would be it. Since he felt terrible, he went to his room straight away. Wanting to tear off his own head he barely realized that he could have gone to the infirmary. Not only the headache but his stupidity made him feel annoyed. Turning his gaze towards his desk a spark of blue was lit. It wasnât normal. He didnât manipulate anything nor summoned the flames of hell. Why would a souvenir from the Underworld randomly caught on fire? Lysias joked a few times to his roommate about setting everything from the underworld on fire and he was thinking that would be fun. But seeing it like this, it wasnât fun at all. Not when his other belongings also got caught on fire. S H O C K E D, but knowing that standing there wouldnât help, he raised his hand to concentrate on stopping the flames. However, it didnât stop, rather spread over the room. ââStop!ââ Giving an order in the name of the Prince of the Underworld seemed logical but it failed quickly. He blinked a few times, not realizing the more flames spread, the more he became worried. It wasnât stopping. He tried and tried, yet the blue grew stronger. And now, it was burning his roommateâs belongings. P A N I C K E D, he took up his cell phone, in the hope of calling his sister, Fahima. However, his shaking hands let the blue wrap up the phone. ââFuck!ââ He swore before feeling the aura, hellfire all around his body. He moved his hands to his hair and closed his eyes. He needed to think, think for a way out. Fahima was his only hope but finding her was troublesome. There was a possibility to hurt someone. Instead, knowing where to go was better. Since going somewhere that would keep the flames inside while waiting for Fahima seemed like a good idea, he decided to go to Power Control class. He didnât know what would happen on the way, whether he would hurt someone or not. But staying in his room, watching it get destroyed was something he wouldnât choose. Freeing his hair, he sighed as to get couraged. And with doing that he realized his surroundings more. The sound of fire alarm, people, and the panic. Lysias felt horrible for losing control. Even if it wasnât his fault, it was his responsibility. So he had to go to the classroom. He opened the door that was covered with hellfire. And after that, he stopped from seeing things around him and thinking about whatâs going on. His goal was to reach the classroom. He ran, knowing that he left traces of flames behind, but that was something to think about later. When he reached out the classroom he locked himself in the control unit. This unit was prepared to hold anything in, and he knew that if it didnât contain elements of the underworld, his powers wouldnât stay in. As he was partially free from the idea of hurting people, he relaxed and lowered himself to the ground. But the thoughts started to flow in. He was sure that as soon as Fahima heard what was going on, she would help others and then him. Right now, he needed to wait. His headache, however, gotten worse. Thinking about too many things made him want to break his head into tiny pieces and at some point, he swore that he heard people speaking. ââStop, fucking stop already!ââ  He was close to hurt himself instead, but something stopped him. Or in clear words, some visions. Seeing the grin of the spirit in front of him he backed off. Spirits of the deceased that lingered in hell. He knew, from Fahima that they were able to summon the spirits of the deceased, demons and beings of fire. But considering how he was terrible at controlling his power he wouldnât even think of the possibility of this. So there was another evidence staying in front of him. He wasnât the one doing this. Taken aback, he ignored the whispers of the deceased. He didnât know how many are there but he could clearly see the 3 of them. Remembering who he was, he started to speak. ââI need to talk with my mother.ââ He wasnât expecting any laughter, sighing as to keep calm he muttered words this time. ââI said, I want to speak with my mother. Say that to her.ââ Another laughter. ââWho made you in charge? A child that canât even carry the power of the Queen.ââ He was ready to say something but his words were cut off because of the other spirit. ââYet carries the legacy of an abomination.ââ That was it, he didnât know how some miserable spirit would have the guts to speak like that but it was his threshold of tolerance. ââIâm the PRINCE of the Underworld, a WILSON. And with that legacy, I order you to fuck off.ââ  He felt the anger, his power, and the combination of the two. This was something he had never felt before but ridiculously he felt in control. It lasted seconds, yet it made the spirits to vanish. He was in a situation that had no good side to it but the feeling was already scraped into his mind. Before all of this, he had given up on the matter of controlling his power. He thought he would be never able to control it. But he was w r o n g. He walked towards the glass of the unit. Flames of the hellfire were still around the room, and even if he tasted being in control for seconds, he still had to figure out what was going on and why his power got out of control in the first place.

oscar simply listened, he wouldnât judge himself the best mentor or even the best at advising anyone, but he could give the younger male his views on the topic anyway. â your sister is older, iâm sure she felt like you at some point. â didnât they all? a lot of it had to do with knowing yourself and being comfortable with that. â i donât think you should do nothing; you canât truly control your power until you know what youâre capable of. â that was something he had figured out after a long time of just trying to keep it in. â but letting it all loose at once is a stupid idea, it could harm you and it could hurt others. you just gotta keep practicing and you gotta be patient. the bigger the power, the harder it is to control it. â i guess youâre not a fan of starting small? â
ââI mean, Iâve been doing that since the first year and I canât say that I saw its benefits.ââ It was frustrating to get no outcome. He felt at some point he was missing something that restrained him from controlling his power. He also had some ideas that might lead this to happen. ââItâs annoying.ââ
maxstcrk:
â we need to find a place in the city that sells jellyfish. i guess thatâs enough for school today, we have more important things to work on. âÂ
ââWait-- Are we serious?ââ Thinking the possibility for it to be real, he raised his eyebrows and tried to understand if Max was joking or not.Â
rottenfrvit:
silas rolls his eyes , raising his hands in surrender and walking backwards away from lysias. â fine , be salty. see if i care. â
Staying there wasnât a good idea when there was literally nothing Lysias could say. Therefore, he mumbled a faint ââWhateverââ before leaving.Â
ofandre:
He had no idea what todayâs class been about as his mind was lingering on their soon-to-happen-hang-out with Lysias, where they were going to hang out in particular. AndrĂ© didnât know him enough to make an accurate prediction about it but if he was to take a shot in the dark, heâd guess Lysias was taking him to a satanic ritual or a strip club. Even tough anywhere congested with people was out of AndrĂ©âs comfort zone, he had to go to make up for their last encounter, which AndrĂ© thought he had blown. The class was dismissed. His eyes met with Lysiasâ while heading towards his locker. AndrĂ© stared at the book Lysias had pulled out with his eyes wide open. He let out a sigh of relief upon the explanation. âAh, thank god. Yep, I might just trust you on this one now.â He walked over to his own locker and picked up one of his favorites.Â
Brooklyn Botanic Garden. No way in HELL! AndrĂ© was having a hard time hiding the thunderstruck look on his face. âLetâs just say this was the last place I had expected â No offense but you can summon actual fire from hell. Not to mention your mother is the Queen of the Underworld, and this is where you hang out? Among the grass and the flowers - Iâm fascinated by the irony.â His eyes were fixed on Lysiasâ as he was looking at him from a whole another perspective.
Lysias couldnât help but laugh upon hearing AndrĂ©âs words. It wasnât surprising since he was only seen in here by himself. Other than that he would either hang out in school or city, doing things AndrĂ© probably wouldnât enjoy. Still, from AndrĂ©âs reaction, he could see the possibility of common likes. And even the possibility seemed nice.  ââSo would you be surprised if I told you the last time I went to Underworld was when I was 10 or something?ââ He never liked the Underworld. The reasons would make a long ass list but the main thing was, It never felt like home, it wasnât a home. ââBelieve me, being among the grass and the flowers is way better than there.ââ
It didnât take them long to reach to The Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden, one of the best parts of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. He didnât know why, but upon discovering this part of the Garden, it automatically became his favorite. It included a pond, a waterfall,  an island, wooden bridges, stone lanterns, a viewing pavilion, the torii or gateway, and a Shinto shrine. Wherever he looked, there was something to watch. And the smell, if he were to describe it, he wouldnât even find the right words. Before showing the thing he wanted AndrĂ© to see, he decided to wait awhile. The scenery was beyond great, he didnât know if AndrĂ© came here before but it would be good to give him some time to just appreciate the view. ââI donât know if you like this... Japanese stuff.ââ
âš the pyromaniac
âI was the match and you were the rock Maybe we started this fire We sat apart and watched All we had burned on the pyreâ
blakeparker:
âDarnit, youâve become immune to my powers.â
ââYou wish, Parker. Besides, what are you suggesting us to watch?ââ
leahkinney:
â keep it that way, â leah rolled her eyes and slumped back into her chair.
ââYou know telling this to a Wilson is pretty ridiculous but Iâll try my best.ââ
rottenfrvit:
silasâ eyebrows raise â oh , youâre actually mad. â he reaches out , tucking a longer strand of lysiasâ hair behind his ear. â does someone need a kiss ? â
ââDonât.ââ Even though he felt like punching Silas in the face, it was pointless to blame him for what he had seen. Silas had no clue. Therefore, his tone softened. ââUse that shit on me.ââ
maxstcrk:
â who says they canât be pets? youâd just need some really cool and huge aquarium, and get just the right system. still doable, â he shrugged. he should look into that. â but i guess sidekick is the second best thing. or, it could actually be better. i mean, we would be putting jelloâs abilities to work and it would have a more fulfilled life. âÂ
ââRight? Who would have thought about this? We are geniuses and we are probably wasted in this school. We should go do something big. With jellfish!ââ
blakeparker:
âOh you couldnât hate me, Iâm too adorable.â
ââNo, you are not??ââ
oscarbanner:
he sighed, a little annoyed that he had been interrupted, but the kid obviously needed some help, and he wouldnât be the asshole that refused to help. he put his bow down, propping it against a nearby tree. â yeah, â he replied simply. it was true, there were plenty of times that he wanted nothing more than to do that, usually due to peopleâs stupidity. â but i know that no matter how much i want it, itâs never worth what comes after. â and even if sometimes it could look worth it, his conscious wouldnât let him think so. â are you having problems controlling your power? â
ââItâs not that similar to your situation but... I donât even know the limits of my power. Well, at least not personally. My sister can control hellfire without any trouble. The only way that I can practice f r e e l y is when Iâm with her.ââ The school wasnât much of a help because he wasnât allowed to manipulate it completely. âStep by stepâ thing wasnât helpful either. Â ââI sometimes want to not care and see how it goes. Doing nothing just in case itâs gets out of control is pathetic.ââ
Lysias didnât exactly know what AndrĂ© liked so he was trusting on his instincts. And of course, he was reaping the benefit of questioning Chance about AndrĂ©. Combining the two wasnât that hard and it was the time to be self-confident. Otherwise, how could they enjoy their time and how could he learn new things about him? Pulling out the book that had been staying there for not so long, he smiled. ââTake a book with you. Youâll need it.ââ Guessing the possible reactions that might have occur he slammed the locker closed. ââJust trust me alright? It wonât be as bad as you think.ââ  After an hour later they arrived at their destination. Standing in front of the signboard, which had the âBrooklyn Botanic Garden.â written on it he tried to catch AndrĂ©âs eyes. Observing how he reacted he couldnât help but chuckle a bit. ââYou werenât expecting this... At all.ââÂ
