the voice seemed familiar, but nope, it couldn’t be —— RIGHT?? jj turned around to take a look at the stranger, and her eyes widened. this could not be happening again. “spence– i thought you were–” back in the house?? she thought. that wasn’t the type of joke spencer would make ( only if they were both being silly. ) besides, she KNEW spencer from the tip of his toes, to the top of his head – and this wasn’t it. jj blinked, swallowing hard. whoever this was … it held a remarkable, if not EXACT familiarity with the girl’s boyfriend. “wh– who are you??” she asked him, furrowing her eyebrows.
even despite the fact that it was rather clear that she was speaking to wheatley, when she would begin her sentence with the name ‘spence’ he would glance back to see if she had actually been talking to someone behind himself. his eyebrows would knit together in confusion when seeing that it had in fact been himself that she’d been talking to, returning his sights back to her. despite his own blooming concern when hearing her tone, wheatley manages a smile. she must’ve mistaken him for someone else-- but, to be fair, all humans pretty much looked just about the same to him, too. a mix-up was an understandable mistake. “my name’s wheatley-- pleasure to meet you.”
