Wonder Girls’ Why So Lonely single album was released a year ago today!

The album was composed and the lyrics written by the members, the instruments were also recorded by them. The title track was composed and written by Sunmi and Hyelim and sold over 1M+ copies in South Korea. The album was acclaimed by professionals for its sound and powerful lyrics. Why So Lonely received a Perfect All Kill (#1 on 8 charts and on the weekly chart) the week of its release and managed to get another Certified All Kill four weeks after the release. It also won 4 trophies on music shows and a Gaon Chart Music Award for Song Of The Year. The title track also won Best Pop Song at one of the most legitimate award show in K-Music, the Korean Music Awards, also called “the Korean Grammys”, for they do not take sales into consideration and the winners are determined by a panel of music critics and industry experts.
