I was recently a guest on The Olive Roots Podcast with host Chozy Aiyub!
We shared a wonderful conversation about our shared Palestinian heritage, the experiences that have inspired my art, and our dreams for a future where our people and our land are free. 🇵🇸

Thanks to many generous donations over the last few weeks, we have raised another $10,000 for families in Gaza through Project Sarsour! 🍉🤲
My deepest gratitude to all who have contributed and shared (and special shoutout to my friend Noah Samsen and his community for their immense support)! Thanks to your generosity, 6 Gazan families have been given a fighting chance to survive and rebuild.
As always, from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free. 🇵🇸
➡️❤️ We are transferring these funds directly to 6 families & we have 14 more waiting! Read their stories & support the campaign: https://chuffed.org/project/144092-project-sarsour?section=updates

This was recorded exactly two years ago, on June 14th 2024; Day 252 of the genocide. Today, we still need your support as I am actively raising funds for over 20 Gazan families through Project Sarsour. Please contribute if you can!

I have the moral need to tell the cool people here that @ahmedsarsour is on Tumblr
I remember, at the beginning of my first encounters with social media influencers, I was so relieved when I got connected with big accounts.
But unfortunately, it didn’t help.
I’m self-taught in English. Some told me I didn’t need help since I could convey my own story.
Others said they would help, then bailed on me.
Others were mad when I didn’t add their names to my posts—every time I posted.
And what I hated the most were those who were always talking about us, but never took the chance to talk TO us.

"Let’s burn their den of crime”
This artwork was made by Taika, inspired on the community poem “A promise”.
I want to thank my community wholeheartedly for the artwork and community poem ❤️
This is an excerpt from my poem “Views/Influence”, where I want to come clean about how life is beyond the screen here in GAZA, when it's easy to speculate over our pain but never really get us to be seen. To be heard.
I was promised with their help, but when it didn't come—even though I was told it would, my hope crumbled apart in a tearing pain. How come the only people to blame has to be us?
I wrote this poem on the 18th of March when they breached the ceasefire backed up by the Trump administration. And now it's the same scenes all again. *** This poem shouldn’t need an introduction. After what we witnessed yesterday—from the whole world, not just The zionist state or the complicit Trump administration—I’m holding all of you accountable. I’m losing hope; I’m sleep-deprived, and the nightmares are starting again, literally *and* figuratively.
I’m calling out your hypocrisy, your bias, and your theft of the blood of my people, of the struggles and suffering we endure while you enjoy life outside this prison you’ve accepted for us. Before you stands the entire Arab and Muslim Ummah, watching silently as we are slaughtered in this holy month. I’m disgusted by your actions, your silence, and your double-faced reality.
I'm enraged, I will neither forget nor forgive—Allah is my witness. I will see you before Him and His law, where no one can lie to His face. I’m done with you all. I hate you. I want nothing from you. Let us die in silence. Don’t share our suffering, don’t post updates, don’t attend protests—it’s all useless.
Go about your lives. Enjoy them while you can, for you belong in hell. I send you the deepest wishes of suffering at the hands of our oppressors—may you feel what we feel and finally understand.
Check out this clip from Episode 5 of “Direct from Palestine,” a series hosted by @i.have.friends.everywhere on Instagram. We discussed how Israel is behind all the atrocities happening in Palestine and Sudan.
I also opened up on my dream of switching careers and joining the aviation industry. We are a people with dreams, hopes and life goals, and this gen0cide is stripping away our chances at pursuing them.
No one is free until we are free. 🌈
This is an excerpt from my poem “Body Chant!”.
“They are inhumane, denying our right to feel pain. Like it does not even matter. As if their actions, can’t shatter.”
The deliberate negation of our pain, history, and right to exist never ceases to bloom on the thrones of those who have got the power to choose whether we get to live or die this day. The sickening satisfaction placed on our daily suffering, the negotiation of whether our pain is real or not and the seductive idea of erasing us that people in power exhort is something to point out.
