I think I'm going to take a break for a while, decide if I'd feel comfortable still engaging with the fandom.

I'm definitely not going to play the game, unless the team is completely gutted of abusers and abuse apologets.

I'm probably going to focus on my other comfort media like Rain World, Hollow Knight, and Gurren Lagann, just know that this isn't because I'm ignoring the situation, but there's very little I can do to help. All I can really do is be another face in the crowd of people condemning this disgusting manipulation and violence, solidarity in numbers is important, especially when it comes to protecting and uplifting abuse survivors.

Anyone who knows Ren personally, please help them through this, we all know how vicious the internet can be to people who out their abusers.

I wish Ren healing and justice, and the dev team everything they deserve. Even if neither *him* nor his accomplices ever face legal repercussions, it comforts me to know that the majority of the fandom will make sure they never know peace online again.

the bad thing about having unhealthy habits due to mental illness, is when you DO do something healthy style you can't brag about about it because then people will then know you've been doing it yucky style all along.
