The Center will promote awareness, understanding and appreciation of the ways in which architecture and urban design influence the built environment and enhance the quality of life in the community.

MCAD Open For Business! I'm very honored to be part of this build out, watching the project change and evolve as each new challenge presents itself makes one feel an attachment to it. I may not be visiting once a week but I will forever be roaming the spaces created here by an outstanding team. Job well done Team MCAD!

Putting MiamiCAD to use! They have the Drawn From Miami show hanging now, seminars going on, floor polishing, all around looking great!

Moving along. These are from October 10, 2013. Arches getting the final touches, AC going in, bulkhead for the glass wall entrance. Starting to take nice shape.

Arches taking beautiful form, AC going in, bulkheads, busy busy busy men buzzing all over the place. Only a few stood still long enough to be recorded.

MCAD 2nd Floor: drywall going up, AC going in (thumbs up) and some core drilling. Install coming along superbly.

Finally AC going in. It's been a hot summer. Today it's about core drilling and AC install. All good things happening at the MCAD in downtown Miami. Stay tuned for the 2nd floor, more photo processing needed from the core drilling vibrations.

MCAD is stocked with drywall and moving along nicely. Very excited to see it starting to take shape. Stay tuned.
