And that completes the 2016 Australian Championship. We thank the President of AIDA Inc, Christine Portbury and her Executive on a successful week in Hobart.

Christine, after six years as the President of AIDA Inc, thank you for your tireless efforts in running this organisation. Your attention to detail, knowledge and expertise in relation to AIDA Inc and Championships like this one is admirable and the Australian Irish Dancing community is appreciative of all you do. Thank you must also go to Lyndsay and Rosco who support you while you support us. The legacy you have left, the Australian International Oireachtas, is a credit to you and your Council and something you should be very proud of. Enjoy the next chapter. May it be a relaxing one!
