At those words Alistair found himself stopping, and when he did he was pulled lightly by Zeus who hadnât yet realized. The move didnât break him from looking down at Aiden. Then bending down, Alistair said, âI know that. And I love you too. No matter what.â Then leaning forward he pressed a kiss to the top of Aidenâs head. He stood up and smiled before Zeus gave him a tug to continue walking. Alistair, not wanting to go inside with Zeus, stopped to put in the order with a very friendly waitress. She jutted it down and told him sheâd be back with the take out in a bit. âHe has a lot of good meals on the menu.â
When Alistair stopped, Aiden hoped that it was for good reasons. And not because he had said something to upset him or give him second thoughts about their relationship. When his mate echoed his words, saying that he loved him too no matter what, he answered with a wolfy grin as those familiar butterflies let loose in his stomach. No matter how long they had been and would be together, he knew they always would. And the sweet kiss more than perfectly sealed the deal. Nuzzling into the faeâs neck, he leaned contently against him while they waited for their order. âGood deal, I could eat a house about nowâ He chuckled.
