The Hon'ble Minister of State of Health & FW, Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar ji, Hon'ble Governor of Bihar, and Hon'ble Chief Minister of Bihar were the guests of honor. 450 students received their degrees.

Under the leadership of our Hon'ble Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) G. K. Pal, AIIMS Patna organized the #SwachhataHiSeva campaign, which saw enthusiastic participation from faculty, students, and staff. Under the patronage of our Hon'ble Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) G. K. Pal, the Department of Dermatology at #AIIMS Patna organized a #CME focused on Therapeutics in Hansen's Disease. This event, conducted in collaboration with the IADVL Bihar chapter, took place on August 12, 2023. The CME featured a highly informative session on the mentioned subject, and numerous delegates participated, sharing their insights and perspectives.

A #CME was organized on the occasion of World Head & Neck Cancer Day organized by the Department of Radiation Oncology & Surgical Oncology, AIIMS Patna in collaboration with AROI Bihar on 27th July 2023. Dignitaries present at the event included Dr. Manisha Singh (Medical Director, Mahavir Cancer Sansthan, Patna) Dr. Umesh Kumar Bhadani (Dean of Academics) Dr. CM Singh (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Prem Kumar (Dean, Research), Dr. Pritanjali Singh (Prof. & Head, Dept. of Radiation Oncology), Dr. Jagjit Pandey (Assc. Prof. & Head, Dept. of Surgical Oncology) and Dr. Veena K. Singh (Addl. Prof. & Head, Department of Burns & Plastic Surgery). The CME event served as an exceptional platform for #knowledge_exchange, fruitful discussions, and the fostering of collaborations in the relentless fight against head and neck #cancer.
In the esteemed presence of our Hon'ble Executive Director, Prof. (Dr.) G.K. Pal, AIIMS Patna in association with (SHSB) State Health Society Bihar, successfully organized a workshop on "Strengthening the Patient Care under the #RashtriyaBalSwasthyaKaryakram (RBSK)" on July 25, 2023. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. CM Singh (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Prem Kumar (Dean, Research), Dr. Veena K. Singh (Additional Professor & Head, Department of Burns & Plastic Surgery), and Dr. Anurag Deep (Hospital Coordinator - RBSK, AIIMS Patna), who shared their valuable insights on the subject matter.
For the commemoration of the completion of Hon'ble Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) G. K. Pal's 1st year as the CEO of AIIMS Patna on the 3rd of July 2023, the Faculty Association of AIIMS Patna (FAAP) organized a series of events including #Tree_Plantation as a symbol of enormous growth and sustainability of the institute, and a CME on "Empowering Healthcare Professionals". Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar was Chief Guest. Dr. Madhabananda Kar, Executive Director of AIIMS Jodhpur, Dr. TN Singh, Director of IIT Patna, and Dr. Manish Mandal, MS of IGIMS, Patna were guests of honors. The day-long program ended with the release of a #documentary on the #achievements of AIIMS Patna last year.
The 9th #InternationalYogaDay was celebrated at AIIMS Patna on 21st June 2023, with the esteemed presence of Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar ji, the Hon'ble #Governor_of_bihar, as our chief guest. The event was organized under the guidance and support of our Executive Director, Prof. (Dr.) G. K. Pal. During the ceremony, the Hon'ble Governor of Bihar, accompanied by our Executive Director, presented certificates to the winners of the #yoga_competition and shared their perspectives on the importance of #yoga for physical well-being.
Under the Patronage of our Hon'ble Executive Director, Prof. (Dr.) G. K. Pal, the Department of Pathology, AIIMS Patna organized a #Haematology Continuing Medical Education (CME) event along with a #quiz on 17th June 2023. The focus of the event was the latest updates from the #World_Health_Organization (WHO) regarding #Hematolymphoid_neoplasms. Distinguished delegates shared their perspectives on the topic, and the quiz saw participation from students representing PMCH, NMCH, IGIMS, and AIIMS Patna.

The event was attended by Dr. Umesh Kumar Bhadani (Dean Academics) and Prof. (Dr.) Arun Kumar (DDA).
Under the patronage of our Hon'ble Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) G. K. Pal, the Department of #emergency Medicine at AIIMS Patna, celebrated #EmergencyMedicineDay on May 27, 2023, with the theme "Your Safety, Our Priority." The event commenced with a cycling activity and included informative presentations. along with Dr. Arun Prasad, (Deputy Director of Administration), Dr. C.M. Singh, (Medical Superintendent), and Dr. Bindey kumar (Director, IGIMS Patna) were present. A hundred faculty and nursing staff members attended the event, emphasizing its importance.
A 3-week-old #newborn with a suspected inborn error of metabolic disorder and high ammonia level was transferred to AIIMS Patna #nicu from a private hospital. Peritoneal dialysis was performed for the first time on a newborn at AIIMS Patna. Genetic analysis confirmed propionic acidemia. The baby responded well to a special low-protein diet and was discharged after a 3-week NICU stay. Close monitoring will continue in the follow-up. Our Honourable Executive Director, Prof. (Dr.) G. K. Pal congratulated the entire team of Faculty members of the Neonatology Department and Dr. C. M. Singh, Medical Superintendent of AIIMS Patna for achieving this feat.

Under the guidance of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, AIIMS Patna organized a seminar focusing on #heatrelatedillness on 20th March 2023. And, the Hon'ble Executive Director, Dr. G. K. Pal inaugurated the seminar. The intent of this seminar is to raise awareness about the various types of health problems caused by exposure to high temperatures and ways to prevent and manage them effectively.
