okay ! aikaterina is the eldest daughter of the bjornson family and overall the second oldest of them all. she cares deeply for her family and will always put them first. she's killed for them and the body count is only going to increase more and more, just as it always has done. aikaterina is the type to destroy someone for even looking at any of her siblings the wrong way and is fiercely protective of them !
before the curse hit, aikaterina was married and had one child. however, her husband died in battle when her child was but an infant. she never remarried and was pretty much heartbroken for years. when everything went down, aikaterina had no choice but to give her daughter to a neighbour that she trusted to raise her so that she would be safe & protected. aikaterina fled soon afterwards, coming back once or twice a year to watch her baby grow up from afar.

she's bisexual and has had numerous partners over the centuries but it's very hard for her to truly fall for someone because of how guarded she is. but aside from that, she's extremely charming and uses that to her advantage when she wants information, or anything else. manipulation is pretty much the key for aikaterina.

as for the family cross that was used as a beacon to mystic falls, aikaterina was surprised to feel it's power and immediately made plans to return to the town. she has bought herself a mansion there and recently moved in. her plans are to lay low and unearth the mystery of what's going on in the town and will do pretty much anything to find out any secrets that may be best kept hidden from her, yikes !
