Hi! Always great to meet another Switchfoot fan. And yes, it's from the song "The Shadow Proves the Sunshine".
That song has always had great meaning to me as it explore themes of resilience, hope, and the intrinsic link between light and dark, and that our struggles are not only inevitable but also evidence of our strength, hope, and what makes us human.
Sorrow implies the existence of joy, dark implies light, and pain implies healing.
