The creature known as an Arbok observed the smaller, fox-like animal in growing amusement. The other displayed a common reaction, though they appeared intelligent enough not to make any sudden movements or make a run for it. For the moment.
His jaw opened in what could pass as a smile, if you squint. Sharp teeth glints along the lower portion.
Curious as he was to this new… creature, the large snake chose in that moment not to bite. But that doesn’t mean he won’t attempt to constrict the unknown creature to prevent escape until he’s satisfied. The slow coiling of the giant snake’s lower half is the only warning the furry one gets.
The Felicid was a being of observant behavior, and he swore- he SWORE this giant snake was smirking in one way or another. In the moment of realization Airin didn’t feel so scared anymore, or at least not as much. If this giant snake thought he was going to get the better of the Felicid he was wrong!
He saw the snake’s tail coiling, and Airin wasn’t going to have any of it! He’s been bitten by too many snakes in his life and he wasn’t going to add being strangled by one to his list!
“…Don’t even try, pal.” Airin warned with the most annoyed face he could manage while being frightened.
The snake paused, intrigued the smaller creature would call him out like this, even as his scent contradicts his words. He now has a definite smirk on his snout at the fox-dog’s expression, his hood relaxing a small amount.
Arbok replies, barely suppressing convulsing in laughter, “I only want to get to know you...” The golden color of his fur is tempting the serpent.
