FINALLY POSTING THE SILVER COSPLAY I MADE BACK IN OCTOBER!!!!

After dying my hair silver for this cosplay, I was set to be Silver back in October of 2025. But due to a unfortunate life events, it was postponed for over 6 months. This is what I scraped together to present today 🩶

Complete with flashing lights in the skirt, bedazzled shoes, my little silver key necklace, and a WHOLE LOT OF GLITTER! 😃

Heyo, I know I haven't posted in a while. I said I was going to do a silver cosplay but that got totally derailed by life. Like, I still have the full cosplay, I wore it for Halloween and everything, I just haven't really gotten around to posting it because SO much happened. (Literally dyed my hair silver for one Halloween costume, wish I had picks of it, I eventually gave up and just got a wig instead) I also got some pieces for bronze and ro, but nothing even close to a full cosplay. Anyway, I haven't just abandoned my CB Tumblr account, I just went over to Ao3 to hang out there for a long while since I'm constantly going back and forth in real life.

I kinda just wanna see Prunella in a big layered Lolita dress and hair bonnet because I'm obsessed with her hair, and also I needed to see Buddy in a top hat (but I am loving that waist sash). Deacon got left with way too little space, but I swear his outfit is really cute in my head. As for Chase, I mostly just wanted to design the shirt, but his hair accessory that matches Prunella's and boots are my favorite!

I knew Punko liked Gravity Falls, but why did it take this long for me to notice the parallels between Mabel Pines and Chase Hollow??? With how many comfy star print sweaters they both own, they could probably share a wardrobe. Not to mention they both like boy band idols and tall goth guys who turn out to be small magical creatures instead of humans like they thought. Maybe Deacon can act as Dipper in the cb universe. What other parallels did you guys catch?

So, in the spirit of pride month, how about a lil pride theory? What if Buddy was demi? It could work, he is canonically pan, but he could both be pan and demi at the same time. As far as we know, he doesn't seem to have been interested in anyone before and he didn't really seem that interested in Chase at first either. So, what if he has to form a connection with someone before gaining attraction to them? He's clearly different from Chase when it comes to attraction, Chase is canonically gay and has multiple celebrity crushes, but Buddy? 🤔🤔🤔

Fun little fan theory here: what if Nox was actually a prince.

I just think it would fit with Chase being the "heroine" and the fairytale heroines ending up with princes so much. Also he does look kinda regal in key form, and a lot of times the villain is some sort of royalty trying to gain more power. Just thought it was a fun idea to share :D

Here's my 'updated cb persona'. The all purple was making me look like buddy and violets long lost twin sister lol, so I added back in the rainbow highlights from my old persona that illuded to my IRL fullIy rainbow hair before I died it. I also added my tats back in just for this. Ended up looking like the cheer team leader and I'm kinda living for it <3 find this poster in the dorm halls of KA recruiting new cheer members
