The 20th anniversary gift paper fan from the hairsalon Limlim! Their theme for their salon is ocean, #mermaid , sailing boat...so I tried to make this year’s paper fan more special look with the night ocean theme🌜🌊🧜‍♀️. (The all the murals inside and outside of this hairsalon is all painted by me).

And I just cut my hair shorter and made my hair like mermaid colors💙🩷💚💜! Thank you for always challenging for me @new_limlim to make my crazy dreams come true✨!

センスと信頼の✨山岸和紙店さんにお願いして、#越前和紙 で今回もとても品の良い風合に仕上がりました。GMSのオリジナルキービジュアルと、福井出身のプロミュージシャンの4人を表現した金色の蝶が、美しく上品に手紙を飾ってくれます。懐紙としてもお使い頂けます。

I designed the key visual for the GMS (Great Masters Series)concert for their limited edition merchandise! I wondered if I could somehow capture the beauty of the cello, viola, and violin—played by young string musicians from Fukui Prefecture—in a single image. Drawing inspiration from the f-holes (the “f”-shaped openings on either side of the soundboard of bowed string instruments), which are a common feature of all these instruments, I created an elegant and graceful design. I felt that the role of the f-hole—“to transmit internal air vibrations to the outside and resonate the sound”—was perfectly suited to these four musicians, whose personalities and talents are shining brightly as they influence the region and a new generation right now. With that in mind, I aimed to create a visual that seems to let you hear the sound itself. I designed a completely original collection featuring this motif, including tenugui hand towels, letter sets made from Echizen washi paper, and tote bags. I’ll actually be selling these items in person at the venue on the day of the concert! Tickets are still available. Don’t miss this “once-in-a-lifetime, miraculous collaboration with a master” concert! Since the merchandise is in very limited quantities, please come early.

GMS（Great Masters Series）のキービジュアルをデザインさせていただきました！福井県出身の弦楽器奏者たちのチェロ・ヴィオラ・バイオリンという美しい楽器を何か一つのビジュアルにできないかと考え、この弦楽器全てに共通しているf字孔（弓奏弦楽器の表板左右にある「f」字形の穴）をモチーフに、優雅でエレガントな模様に仕上げました。「内部の空気振動を外部に伝え、音を響かせる役割を持つ」というf字孔の役割が、まさに今、地域と新しい世代に影響を与えていくこの、お人柄も才能も輝く４人のミュージシャンに相応しいと思い、音色が聞こえてくるようなビジュアルを目指しました。このモチーフの手ぬぐい、越前和紙の懐紙レターセット、トートバッグなど、完全オリジナルでデザインさせていただきました。当日は会場でなんと私が直接販売します！まだチケット買えますよ。この「2度と聴けない、巨匠との奇跡のコラボ」コンサートをお見逃しなく！グッズもかなり数に限りがあるのでお早めにお越しくださいね💙❤️🖤✨

Happy Easter 🐣！

I held a workshop where the kids could pick out my hand-drawn flowers just like at a florist, color each one themselves, and create a bouquet to give as a gift. I even designed the wrapping paper used to tie up the bouquet this time 🌼. The kids had such a great time and were all smiles—it was so much fun for me, too! Since I made everything using items I had at home, I wanted to show them that even if you don’t have money to buy a bouquet for someone, you can still create a wonderful gift to make a loved one smile 💐✨ using things they already have at home.

Thanks to @nest_fukui , I was able to take on a new challenge ✨🌈

私の手描きのお花をお花屋さんみたいに自分で選んで、自分で1つずつ色を塗って、誰かにプレゼントするための花束を作るワークショップをしました。最後に花束にして包むときの包み紙も今回オリジナルのデザインで作りました🌼　子供たちがとっても楽しそうに笑顔で過ごしてくれて私も最高に楽しかったです！私自身、家にあるもので制作したので、花束を誰かに買ってあげるお金がなくても、大切なひとを笑顔にする素敵なプレゼントを💐✨家にあるもので作れることを教えたかった。

I had the pleasure of designing business cards for the members of the Wakuniko General Incorporated Association. This organization is dedicated to finding sustainable ways to enjoy everyday life that are kind to the Earth and bring excitement and smiles to both children and adults alike. They always put their heart and soul into their work, valuing human connections and trust, and strive to have fun themselves as staff members. The “Wakuniko LOHAS Market,” held every autumn at Kanazu Creative Forest, is another event they prepare. I also do my best to support them every year by my design. I designed a mascot character for them that radiates excitement and joy, just like the sparkling greenery 🌳 🌏 🍎 of our planet.

一般社団法人わくにこ様のメンバー名刺をデザインさせていただきました。地球にやさしく、子どももおとなも、みんなでわくわくにっこりできる、持続可能な日常の楽しみ方を、いつも一生懸命考えて、人間関係と信頼を大事に、スタッフメンバーさん自身も楽しもうとしておられる活動団体です。毎年金津創作の森で秋に行われる「わくにこロハスマーケット」もこの方達が全力で準備されている活動です。私もデザインの面でお手伝いさせていただいてます。地球の緑がキラキラ輝くような、わくわくにっこりなマスコットキャラクターをデザインさせていただきました🍎🌳🌏。

I designed the flyers and tickets for Great Masters Series concert which is coming at Harmony Hall Fukui in 2026! I’ve been designing their flyers for 3 years, and I also designed their logo 5 years ago. I feel so lucky to know these amazing human beings and also talented musicians, I feel so honored that I can be a part of their great projects to collaborate all the regend masters of Japanese classic music history. Young professional world wide successful string players with the world regend masters of classic music!!

I always try to watch the guest regend master's youtube videos to listen and watch their performances to get the inspiration for the design. This time is Marimba master Keiko Abe, I felt very round and soft objects popping out from her music sound, so I expressed as flowers since the concer will be in April.

2020年にこのGMSのロゴをデザインさせて頂き、この三年はずっと毎年チラシやチケット、今年はグッズもデザインさせていただいてます。福井出身であり世界中で活躍する才能あふれる若いミュージシャンであり、お人柄も素晴らしいこのメンバーが、世界的にもクラシック音楽の歴史に残るくらいのレジェンドのマスターたちと毎年共演を行うこのシリーズ。歴史に残っていくであろう、毎回鳥肌立つ舞台です。2026年のコンサートでは、新たな限定グッズも発売予定です！本日は久しぶりにこのチームメンバーで会い、チラシの完成を祝いました。それぞれ活躍されている国外、国内の違う場所から福井へ集まっての、貴重なイベントです。一回一回のコンサートが、もう2度と見れない組み合わせの演奏ですよ。ぜひみなさんチケットをお求めください。

いつも、ゲストのマスターの動画を見て、彼らの演奏を聞きながら、その年のチラシのデザインのインスピレーションを沸かせるのですが、今回のゲストマスター安倍先生の演奏をYoutubeで拝聴した時の私のイメージが、このマリンバの音がとても丸っこく、「ぽんぽんぽんぽぽぽん・・・」と優しい音色で玉のように音が浮かび上がっていくイメージだったので、それを花にしてみました。（前回の今井先生は月夜に金の蝶が飛んでいくイメージでした）

「2017年に福井県出身の弦楽器奏者４名（荒井結・荒井亮子・笠川恵・松谷由美）が中心となりスタートしたGreat Masters Seriesとは、これまでにそれぞれが国内外で培ってきた 経験とさまざまな演奏家との絆をもとに実現していくコンサートシリーズです。

すでにプロフェッショナルとして音楽活動している私たちが、 更に経験を積んできた世代の演奏家からリハーサルや本番を通して学ぶことの素晴らしさ、結果としてより洗練された音楽を皆様にお届けしたいという私たちの強い願いからこのような企画が生まれました。」

I illustrated and designed a Map of Echizen Pottery Park in 2020. They asked me to design their new Polo with new design in this time. They are very proud of their trees (Cherry blossoms and Ginko trees) and lots of art monuments made by the famous artists (like Taro Okamoto) in their park. I also love this park, so I was very excited to design this project. I love how much we can enjoy all 4 seasons of Japan at this park and we can buy all the #echizenpottery there at the shops and the craftsmen’s atelier.

2020年に、越前陶芸村のマップをデザインさせていただきました。この度は越前陶芸公園（EPP）のスタッフジャンパーとポロシャツを新しくしたいのでデザインしてほしい、とご依頼いただき、デザインさせていただきました。越前陶芸公園は、しだれ桜と銀杏の木、そして数々のアーティストたちの陶芸モニュメント、そしてもちろん陶芸家たちの作品に出会える場所、というのが魅力なので、それをデザインにしてほしいと。来年の春には新しいユニフォームがお披露目になると思います。私もこの自然いっぱいの陶芸公園でどれだけたくさん思い出があるかわかりません。そんな場所のスタッフさんユニフォームをデザインさせていただけて幸せです。とても楽しみです！

On October 31, 2025, it was officially decided that Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, would join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the Crafts and Folk Art category, operated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

This makes it the 12th city in Japan and the third city in this category, following Kanazawa City and Tamba Sasayama City.

　Echizen City has promoted creative community development through its deeply rooted cultural and artistic activities, including traditional crafts passed down for over a thousand years, such as Echizen Washi paper, Echizen knives, and Echizen chests of drawers.

I am deeply honored to be entrusted with designing the logo. The logo will be displayed in the production areas and utilized for creating promotional goods.

福井県越前市が、国際連合教育科学文化機関（ユネスコ）が運営する「ユネスコ創造都市ネットワーク」に、クラフト＆フォークアート分野で加盟することが、令和７年１０月３１日に正式決定しました。

　日本では１２都市目、この分野では金沢市、丹波篠山市に次ぐ３都市目です。

　越前市は、越前和紙、越前打刃物、越前箪笥など、千年以上にわたり受け継がれてきた伝統工芸はじめ、地域に根ざした文化芸術活動を通じて、創造性豊かなまちづくりを推進してきました。今回の加盟決定は、これらの取組が国際的に評価された結果であり、越前市の文化の力が世界に認められた証です。

これからロゴをデザインさせていただいて、とても光栄です。

ロゴマークは、ユネスコの承認を得た上で、産地に掲示したり、PRグッズの製作に活用したりしていきます。

The curtains are woven with the very special environmentally friendly yarns, the original curtain hooks are made from plastic that we collected at the beach. Those are very unique curtains with our new concept as if a children's book has been turned into curtains to decorate your windows. The stories of the curtains are all about enviromental issues and animals 🌏🐢🐦‍⬛🪼🌱✨by aiMIKI written in English.

新たな、メガネ拭き👓にも携帯拭き📱にも使える、

理想的なサイズのハンドタオルに生まれ変わる。

💙父の日や❤️母の日を意識して、

子供たちが自分で特別な魔法の色鉛筆✍️で、

私がデザインした塗り絵に色を塗り、

その場で、その色鉛筆の風合いのままプリントして

持って帰れると言うワークショップです❣️

色鉛筆のテキストチャーのままプリントされると言う、

やってみたらすごく新しく✨😳可愛い色で感動しました。

世界的な衣料品の大量生産・大量廃棄問題の解決に取り組むため、昨年、官民一体となった福井県の衣料再生プロジェクト「ぐるぐるふくい」を立ち上げました。少しの不良やロス

で廃棄される服や生地を無駄にせず、

循環型の商品やライフスタイルを提案していくことで、繊維分

野を中心としたサーキュラーエコノミーを推進していきます。

I am honored because this is a field that I am extremely interested in!

I have been working on a project to turn mass-produced and printed cloth into magically pure white again.

Thank you for watching NHK news my documentary about designing for the traditional craftsmanship in countryside in Japan. I was surprised to see my face while I’m talking with passion on tv. My friends often say “your eyeballs gonna pop out Ai!” When I’m too excited to talk, I understood why people say that now lol. I looked scary to myself! I wanna try to practice with cooler face with half closed eyes , but still passionate ❤️‍🔥from now on lol.😂

The Great Masters Series, started in 2017 by four string players from Fukui Prefecture (Yui Arai, Ryoko Arai, Megumi Kasagawa, and Yumi Matsutani), is a concert series that will be performed by those four musicians who are already active as professionals inside and outside of Japan, and will invite legendary guest artists for a single night of miraculous collaboration. I designed the GMS logo in 2018, and I designed the flyers and tickets for them since 2023, as I did also for this year. I've been good friends with the violinist Ryoko since our teenager kids were babies, and I am very happy and honored to be able to work with her, and such a talented group of professionals. As was the case with Mr. Kobayashi's harpsichord last year, this year I illustrated the scenes that came to me while listening to Ms. Imai's viola performance.

2017年に福井県出身の弦楽器奏者４名（荒井結・荒井亮子・笠川恵・松谷由美）が中心となりスタートしたGreat Masters Seriesとは、これまでにそれぞれが国内外で培ってこられたご経験とさまざまな演奏家との絆をもとに実現していくコンサートシリーズです。すでにプロとして国内外で音楽活動されているこの4人のミュージシャンが、毎回レジェンドのゲストアーティストをお呼びして、たった１夜の奇跡のコラボコンサートを起こす🌛✨このシリーズ。2018年にGMSのロゴデザインをさせて頂いて以来、2023年にはプロジェクトマネージャーの友廣みどりさんを通してチームメンバーに迎えて頂いて、昨年に引き続き、今年もチラシやチケットのデザインをさせて頂きました。バイオリニストの亮子ちゃんとは子どもが赤ちゃんの頃からのなが〜い信頼の仲で、こうして素晴らしい才能あふれるプロの方々と一緒に、楽しくお仕事をさせて頂けること、とても嬉しく光栄に思います。昨年の小林先生のチェンバロもそうでしたが、今年は今井先生のヴィオラの演奏を聞きながら、浮かんできた情景をイラストにしました✨🦋🌛💙💜💙✨
