It’s just Jace is a Herondale.. but why Magnus didn’t saw Will Herondale in Jace but saw it on Alec? They’re fucking both afraid of ducks and have star shaped marks caused by the angel Ithuriel. They’re Herondales, and this confuses me a lot. Magnus why? not that i’m against Malec which i fucking ship.

Because Alec has Will's hair and eyes. More specifically, he has Cecily's hair and eyes, because Cecily married and reproduced with Gabriel Lightwood. Jace got James' eyes, so he missed out on Will's most defining feature.
