Hayan Cosmetics + Haul

Hello lovely readers~!♥

Let me introduce a Korean makeup brand that made my heart goes sha la la la la¸.•*•♫♪ 

         Hayan which means "pure/white", is a Korean brand that launched their products in May 1st, 2012. Their products consist of skincare, makeup and even nail polishes. They aim to provide quality products in affordable prices... and OH BOY! HOW TRUE IS THAT! :D

Before I proceed, let me warn you to braise yourself!

         I first learned about Hayan Cosmetics when they were featured in one of the segments of Myx, which you can also watch on their youtube channel.

         Lovely SA's :) They're so accommodating and friendly even though I barraged them with questions. Knowing the A to my Q is a super plus! I'm impress. 

THE HAUL

         This is actually a collective haul. My first visit on their store, they don't have a paper bag with their logo yet .. and no freebies :( BUT you will not believe the price! They were SO affordable with their products at 30% discount, and even without the discount, Hayan's cosmetics are much cheaper than most Korean cosmetic brand.

         OMG!!!!!!! you can't find a korean brand this affordable anywhere! I'm specially excited for the Snail Reviving Ampule, I've been using it for a month now with good result. Expect a full review of the products in a few weeks :)

        I was impress with my first haul from Hayan last month, and decided to make another trip today.

WHAT I BOUGHT:

Snail Intensive eye cream - Php 315

Makeup kit + 8 pieces brush set - Php 900

           I only planned to buy the eye cream to go with my serum and was SHOCKED, and I'm not exaggerating.. I was really shocked to have gotten a face mask AND a toner as freebies FOR A PHP315 WORTH OF PURCHASE! and mind you, its not in that mini sample size. IT'S A FULL BOTTLE!!! how awesome is that?!

                         After that, I can't just leave yet! Then I saw this makeup kit that I instantly liked because its small and really sturdy PLUS it came with a brush set. If you can see/feel the makeup kit you'll know it's of good quality. I have had bad experiences regarding low price brush set so I am quite skeptical whether to include the brushes on my purchase. (you can actually buy them separately, makeup kit is Php 500 and the brushes is Php 400) As you can see I ended up buying both, so fingers cross. I hope the brushes will be of acceptable quality if not good.

         ......and YES! I got another freebie NOT in a mini sample size but a 50ml bottle Essence!! OH YEAH~! I'm a happy shopper!

Lovely me:ex Style my eyebrow

Today's review will be of The faceshop's Lovely me:ex Style my eyebrow in shade no.03  

"I mustache you a question, but I'm shaving it for later!"

:/ sorry for the lame joke~ I just can't help myself from saying it. It's kinda mandatory whenever there's a mustache involve XP

Anyway, you can now probably guess that i like the packaging :D I mean, putting a mustache on eyebrow pencil is just BRILLIANT! Come on! I know I'm not the only one thinking its actually genius!

LOL it's like drawing eyebrows like a sir!

Kidding aside, I think it's the best eyebrow pencil from faceshop that I have ever tried, specially from their Lovely me:ex line. I have tried their previous one which I think is a little bit too creamy for drawing your eyebrows, but this one for me has the right consistency to it. 

SWATCHES:

As you can see, its perfect for both defining and filling in your brows. It is blend-able but make sure to blend it before it sets.

  You can see on the first photo above that i have this bald patch, (chicken pox BOO!) and because it's a scar, i find it difficult to cover =.= I actually thought it's color resistant LOL! That's why I'm really happy that from using style my eyebrow, I can fill in my eyebrows with ease :)    

If you read my previous post, I use this for my everyday makeup. It's long lasting and waterproof! But of course, don't just believe whatever I say! Let's test this baby!

TEST:  

For those sweaty creatures like myself, let's see if its really waterproof. 

 uhm yup, it's waterproof :D

I try rubbing it off with my fingers and it did lose a bit of its color but you can still pretty much tell that it's there!

Now, you don't have to worry for that Monalisa moment where you lose your eyebrows because its pretty long lasting! I swear I'm wearing it all day long and when I got home, my eyebrows are still intact LOL

All in all i will give this a rating of 5/5! This product is now a staple on my makeup kit <3

Everyday makeup

My go-to make up look, specially when i'm lazy.. which is almost everyday =.= lelz Oh! and excuse the awkward smile :/ 

PRODUCTS USED:

I used Missha's M Perfect Cover BB cream in shade no. 27 to even out my skin tone and cover blemishes

To define my eyebrows, I used The Faceshop's Style my brow in shade no. 03. I also use this to fill in some sparse area on my brows

I really like the effect of having dark hair with light eyebrow, it makes my face appear brighter. To achieve that I used Etude House's Color my brows in shade no. 2 which is their light brown.

I really don't like using mascara everyday because I find it a real pain to remove. So to cheat that ticker lashes effect I used Maybelline's Crayon liner in black on to my upper lash line and water line and added a tiny flick at the end :) 

For the lips I used my all time favorite Nyx's Soft Matte Lip cream in Stockholm and added The Faceshop's My lips eat cherry on the middle part of my lips to create that natural bitten look.

I doubled up the use of The Faceshop's My lips eat cherry and put it on my cheeks. First, apply product on the back of your hand, then using your fingers, dab a bit to your cheeks, building up the shade you want. 

All of the products used are undoubtedly my most favorite products. Thus, I use it most of the time if not everyday ;P

it was my first time reading one of Haruki Murakami's works and boy! no wonder my friends are hook with his works. Somehow, when i read books or watch movies i got this sort of spider sense that gives me a hunch on what will happen in the end of the story or who's the real culprit on a thriller movie -whatever.. and i did have this feeling on WHAT WILL happen to toru, but i can't accept the fact that i felt somewhat betrayed by this author =_=" THAT'S HOW AMAZING HE IS! until now i don't know what to feel, with just a short paragraph, he was able to turn everything that i believed around. gaah i hate this feeling! must.watch.barbie. or i'll go crazy

HAUL: nerdy glasses + lashes + wave shaper

         I just got some awesome items from gyaru shoppe meishoku, a cutsey online shop that sells variety of products from make up to accessories PLUS the seller is uber kind and patient even though i bombarded her with tons of text messages XP 

         Anyhoo, as a lazy shopper that i am, i opt to buy stuffs online... less effort  more flabs  more fun, but the only problem i usually encounter from online shopping is the delivery time =.= i mostly get my purchases a week after >.< THAT'S WHY, I am really, really happy coz i already got my orders after a day of smooth transaction YIPPIE! XD

     ... and so, i shall share to you what i bought:

CATWALK COSMETICS: RUNWAY MODEL PALETTE REVIEW

    Here's a review of the palette that i've been dreaming to have for centuries now :)) yup yup if you remember my christmas wishlist .. which everyone pretended not to see it's on the number one spot! LOL XD i got mine a month ago for P1100. Ms. Marj Sia, the fantabulous owner of this cosmetic line didn't charge me any shipping fee!! BROHOHO just coz i had to wait a bit longer for my package to arrive! She's super kind! kinikilig ako, nakatext ko si thetravelingheels XD

      ..So without further ado, i now present you *insert drum roll here* CATWALK COSMETICS' THE RUNWAY MODEL PALETTE~!!.. in its colorful glory...

     oooh~ you know what happened here? i'm guessing ms. marj sia kill all bunnies and unicorns and puppies and kitties and collect every drop of rainbow pukes to perfect this palette! yeah? yeah? ..no? mmm'kay :| 

    i think its a good idea that instead of a box, it came with a bag which i prefer :) coz boxes deforms and it requires a lot of shakra for me to open and close just to get the palette.. and i always end up throwing the box and damaging the cutsey print of the logo..

   Hey! hey! look here! THERE'S A KITTY ON MY MAKE UP~ a proof that my theory is correct <3

         At the back, there's a short description and a tip for make up application~ definitely a plus!

when i tried the wet-brush-tip, i felt like a painter *me gusta .. haha i feel special LOL

For the benefit of the viewers, i will dissect this little bundle of rainbow puke..

   i got the list of names from ms. crissey and wildly guess which name belongs for each color.. felt like an exam tho 

       Its an all-in-one palette which includes 3blushes and different kinds of eye shadow: matte, shimmery/glittery and cream based

Matte: juicy orange, cocoa brown, lime green, green tea, purple lotus, geisha red

Shimmery/Glittery: powder blue, royal blue, disco silver, black noir, lollipop pink, hello yellow

the disco silver is the most shimmery of all ..the others just got a slight glitters on them.

Cream based: pearly white, copper, teal

these are cream based so you can be on your painter mode and mix colors :D

Blushes: (L to R) rose, tangerine, salmon

the palette includes three shades of blushie but i don't care LOL if i want a blue blush no one can stop me! bwahahaha~

    ...as you can tell, these colors are uber pigmented! with just one swipe, you're good to go! <3 <3 <3 and i really, really like the fact that the blues, the greens and the reddish colors are highly distinct from each other.

     You can go back to the color swatches and tell that powder blue is not royal blue.. lime green is not green tea.. pink, not purple, not red. In some make up brands they all look the same when swatched.   

  they're also big O.O much much bigger than five peso coin :D
