Hello beautiful followers! I know we have been on hiatus since forever, but we are going to be doing a time jump to present time. And we are still catching up on quick posts (haha, pun intended) for the rest of the weeks of Quick’s DWTS season. So enjoy the spam!

That much I will say. Yes, a wounded chicken, meaning that you have no coordination whatsoever. Yeah? Well if you do I’m waiting to see them because I haven’t seen any just yet.
Mmm, so you keep me around because I’ve impressed you. I bet I’m also irresistible and hard to get out of your head, no? Just admit it, babe. Oh good. I was almost insulted. Mm. Essentially. That is what a rehearsal is, after all. It’s for training and getting things right before the actual performance. Yeah? Well I’ve seen some impressive stuff in you learning my choreography, but beyond that I’m afraid you just have the moves of a wounded chicken. But go ahead. I want to see if you can prove me wrong on that one.
Right. Of course, yeah. You mean, me getting better each week and somehow impressing you with my skills? Sounds about right. A wounded chicken? Doesn’t that just mean I walk into things and fall over not fall over himself! Hey, I got some pretty rad dance moves!

Why do you think we’re in rehearsals then? Hmm? So we can learn how to make this dance work and perfect the choreography I come up with. If you’re doing it wrong though, I am going to point it out to you and tell you not to do it wrong and show you the proper way to do it. You did do a lift with me last show. I don’t trust just anyone to lift me, so that should say something. I only trust a very few fellow pros to lift me, and of course you now since I had you do it. Fine. Show me then. Show me what you can do, Puck.
Yes. To perfect things. It’s just another word for training for me. And I’m not going to argue with you there. You just seem concerned that I’m just suddenly going to fuck up here. But I’ll let you be on that one. Well, there’s a start, then. Yeah? Oh I’ll show you what I got.

Well I know that I will do it right anyways considering I’m the actual dancer here. I still need to teach you to do this dance right, and with me as your partner you will do it right. So don’t go preaching me about knowing that we have to do this right and about trusting you. I do trust you in your dancing abilities thus far. You may do some questionable things sometimes, but I still trust you’ll do it to your best abilities. I’m not in denial, idiot. No. I won’t calm down until you have this learned and can do it perfectly.
I never said you won’t do it right. I’m just saying we need to think about making it work instead of you telling me not to do it wrong. See what I mean? Yes, I know I’ll do it right. I’m not preaching. Do you trust me? We’ve been doing this for how many weeks now, and we never talked about it. So I’m just bringing it up. My best abilities? Ouch. Yeah, I know we’ve been doing good, but honestly from here on out if we even have one bad dance or just a bad night in general we could definitely be facing elimination. I’m your teacher though. I have to yell at you when you do something wrong. What? No, I’m definitely not. Fine. Alright, so we’re going to start the dance off where we walk towards each other. When we come together we’ll get into hold and we’ll basically be taking a couple steps and as we do so, my right arm and your left will be extended towards your head. From there you’re going to twirl me around and with your right hand still on my hip, we’ll extend our left arms out and I’ll twirl around again so we’ll be back in hold. Got it?
Well, then let’s get it in our heads that we can do this right. There’s no room for doubt here. You can’t doubt yourself when you want to win. Or your partner. So, you, me, we’ve got this, a’ight? The same goes in the military during missions. And trust. Yeah, yeah, I know. Uhuh. Right. Okay, I’m just going to leave it there because you’re definitely in denial but we can talk about it another time. So just kind of like this and then I stand here. See? Piece of cake. Quinn? We’ve got this. Just calm down.

Mmm. Right. You have been keeping up, but I’m going to be teaching you two dances a week now from here on out. The rest of the competition isn’t going to be easy with the cast dwindling down. Puck, we’ve had how many dances now in hold? You should know what it means by now. And yes, I will chew your head off if you’re holding me wrong because the judges can and will deduct points for it.
Oh I can handle it. Trust me. Well, we’ve made it this far, and as a team you and I have been doing pretty good, so. Yes, but I’m just saying. You always want to bite my head off. If I didn’t know better, I’d say you were attracted to me always wanting to get your mouth on me. Fine, fine, let’s practice them. Persistent woman.

Right. Well that could be true, but I’m not meddling into my cousin’s love life again. Alright. So we’re on the same page. Right. Well lucky for you, the tango isn’t too difficult of a dance to learn. We’ll be in hold the majority of it.

Hey! One of them happens to be my cousin, you neanderthal. As for your question, as far as I’m aware they’re not. We’re here to focus on winning, so I’d appreciate it if your focus was on it too because after this show we have a week’s hiatus due to the playoffs and it’s going to give us two weeks instead of one to prepare for our viewer’s choice dance for immunity. So far according to the producers we’ll be dancing the Paso Doble, but we’ll know for sure after the next show. Now, our song for this week isn’t exactly the most ideal for a tango, but I’m making it work with the choreography.
Hey! I’m not hating on them, sweetheart. I’m just stating the obvious. Everyone knows they’re into each other. I am focused. So we’re going to rock it this week and then we’ll practice our asses off even more and we’ll win. Easy. Okay... then let’s do what we always do. You teach me the basic steps so we can put it to the actual music when we find out. Easy.

Okay, fine. You’re not bossy. We should get to work on our dances though. We have two again this week. Our first is our individual dance and we’re dancing the tango to James Bay’s Hold Back the River and James is going to be here to sing live while we dance. Our second is our team dance. As you know, we’ve been grouped up with Blaine & Emma, Kurt & Britt and Finn & Lindsay, while Mercedes & Derek, Santana & Alan, Tina & Mike and Rachel & Sasha are grouped up. We’ll be dancing to a James Brown medley.
Umm... Okay. So we’re paired up with two boys who are basically eyefucking each other every time they’re in the same room? This should be fun. Have they actually gotten together yet? I’ll follow your lead, princess.

Yes. Bossy Booty. Because you’re being one right now. Right. That’s because of all my years of dance training and stage presence. Not because of experience in bed or anything. Right. Yeah, that was in there too. And the whole me puking my heart out the next morning. Sorry for leaving out a few details there. Well, what was there to say? We had sex. In my defense though, I didn’t know I was technically supposed to say anything afterwards.
I’m not bossy! It was just a suggestion. I’m just speaking from experience and meeting people. You’ve had a serious boyfriend before, right? I was just assuming you’d be in that line. I’m sorry. I didn’t know. Okay, well, maybe that wasn’t the best part of the trip. I’m a one-night-stand guy but I don’t walk out on a girl in the morning. I have a bit of class. Yes, I knew what was happening when you asked if it was alright that we had sex, Puck. I remember having some drinks at the reception, me pulling you to the elevator to our room, ditching my dress and your dress blues, as well as me saying I wanted sex and you asking if I was sure. So yeah, I think I remember perfectly well what happened.
Mmm. Bossy Booty? Okay. No, I never said that. All I’m saying is that I thought you’d have experience. I’m not trying to insult you, babe. Just the way you move and your confidence. Well, there was also the part where we were dancing and I believe we started making out. So we went upstairs and got naked. Then in the morning I asked you if you were okay and you ran off to the bathroom. We nursed off our hangover and didn’t say much after that.

Well my bad, Puck. Next time you call me I’ll be sure to call you back, okay? For the last time, I was not avoiding you. What?! I thought it was obvious that I was, but you never asked so I assumed you knew! Puck, I swear, it’s fine. Even though I was drunk, I knew perfectly well what I was doing and I consented to it. So it’s fine. For the tenth time now.
A’ight. Whatever you say. And yes, that would be nice if you called back. So thank you. I never asked because I thought you’ve done it before! Hey, I may be an asshole at times, but I am still a gentleman. Okay, okay, don’t bite my head off. You knew perfectly well that we were having sex? How much do you remember from that night anyway?

I didn’t know I was supposed to call you back the other day, Puck. This may be my job, but I do love it and if the pro gets injured, sick, etc. they can definitely send in another pro to rehearse with their partner. What? No, you didn’t. It’s not a big deal, Puck. I was a virgin up until that night, but it’s fine. I agreed to it and nothing’s wrong.
Well, wouldn’t have been polite to return someone’s call? Right... okay, well, at least I know that now. But you’re not sick, so that’s not even the point. The point is that you were avoiding me. Quinn. You’re kidding, right? You... Holy shit. We were drunk. I would never take advantage of a woman like that, I hope you know that... but you were kind of begging for me.

No, it’s your job to be here with me right now. You never called me back the other day. But whatever you say, sweets. I didn’t even know you could do that, but okay. Just tell me--did I do something wrong?
So you’ve been avoiding me. Anything you want to share with the class, Quinn? You look like you could give a dollar for your thoughts.
“Welcome to Hometown Glory week on Dancing with the Stars!” Tom announced as the intro clip played showing the remaining celebrities and their respective hometowns. “Tonight is a special three-hour long episode where each couple will perform two dances - One to represent the star’s hometown and one to represent the professional dancer’s hometown, and at the end of the evening one more couple will be eliminated. Tonight we will be kicking things off with Airman Noah Puckerman and his partner Quinn Fabray as we learn about his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.”
The two stayed in their place smiling for the camera as it zoomed in on them while everyone else left to go up to the redroom while their package played. “So for my hometown dance this week I chose the song “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey,” Puck began. “And for our style I decided that Jazz would be the best suited style for the song,” Quinn piped in on the video. “This week though we only had a few days to really practice our two dances as we went to my hometown over the weekend for my older sister’s wedding,” Quinn continued.
Next on the package came Puck’s mother. “Growing up in Philly, my Noah was a good boy. He always helped me in taking care of his little sister. As a family we spent time together going to Eagles football games and getting lunch together beforehand. When Noah was 10 though, his father left us and that left Noah pretty devastated and it was hard on him no longer having a male role model to look up to anymore. At 13 he began drinking and I was worried about him. He was having sex with random girls at school, but then when he entered high school he stopped drinking when he joined the football team and eventually the glee club. I truly believe that they helped saved his life and I got to have my boy back,” she tearfully explained on the package as clips of the two rehearsing played. “Then right out of high school he joined the Air Force and I was so proud of the man he had become,” she continued. “When I got the news of what happened when he saved his partner’s life and that he was going to be on Dancing, I was absolutely overjoyed. This was all just proof of the man he has become and how hard he has worked. I couldn’t be prouder of him. Noah, mom loves you. Now you get out there and win that shiny mirror ball trophy!” she exclaimed as the package finished and rolled to black.
After performing their first dance, the two couldn’t have been happier with how it went. Now for the judges’ comments…
Carrie Ann’s comments: “Wow! What a great way to kick off tonight’s show! I absolutely loved it. However, tonight I felt like your timing was slightly off. I don’t know if it was a result of your shortened rehearsal schedule for the week or what, but I did get that sense that you were slightly off. You still have your second dance tonight to redeem yourselves, but it was still a great way to open us for tonight.” Score: 9
Len’s comments: “I have to agree with Carrie Ann. You guys did a great job performing it and selling it to us, but I just got that feeling that you guys were slightly off tonight. Good work though nonetheless.” - Score: 9
Bruno’s comments: “I don’t know what you two were talking about! I didn’t get the sense that you were even off tonight! You guys were great and that lift was like you were lifting up a graceful gazelle! Absolutely stunning!” - Score: 10
Total: 28/30
Upon the first half of the competition completing, it was time for the pros to celebrate their hometowns, but not before a special half opener of their own to show off their hometowns and childhood photos.
Once again, Quinn and Puck were up first. They stood in their positions once again as their second package rolled. “For my hometown glory dance I wanted to dance to the song “American Girl” as covered by The Swon Brothers,” Quinn’s voice carried out. “We’ll be dancing the quickstep. Growing up in Dallas I pretty much lived an All-American lifestyle. Every week my father would take my older sister and I to the Cowboys game at Texas Stadium in Arlington, and we never had to worry about much,” she continued. “My dad was a lawyer that ran his own firm while my mom stayed home to raise my sister and I, though she did help in teaching Sunday School at our Catholic church. Growing up I took ballet, tap, lyrical, pointe and ballroom dance classes as well as taking part in my high school’s National champion cheerleading squad. I absolutely loved growing up in Dallas and I wouldn’t trade it for the world,” her voice rung out as more clips of them rehearsing played before it faded to black.
During the performance Puck had a little stumble that he was sure would effect their scores, but only the judges could tell…
Carrie Ann’s comments: “DANG IT! You guys were doing so great! But then you had that little stumble! I have to knock a point off for that, but otherwise it was another great and solid performance from you, Noah.” - Score: 9
Len’s comments: “Yes, aside from the stumble it was a solid performance. But you guys recovered greatly and that’s what really counts when you make a mistake like that. Well done.” - Score: 9
Bruno’s comments: “Urgh! This time I did catch your mistake. But like Len said you handled that well and you recovered nicely. Your patriotism from both of you shone very nicely from your costumes though. But I still have to take a point off for that stumble.” - Score: 9
Total: 27/30
Results: Noah & Quinn fell to 3rd on the leaderboard for the night, and they were announced as safe for the week.
Eliminated Couple: Sam Evans (Member of Boy Band “JBE”) and Witney Carson
