What should frighten you, as someone who's safe from this tragedy, is the audacity.

To kill thousands of children, knowing that the eyes of the world are on them and not to care.

To hear the echo of pain among people resonate across the continents, demanding their governments to intervene, and yet not pay them the slightest attention, reassured that their leaders will not listen to them. Because they're their partners in this crime.

Millions of voices have no resonance above the voices of a group of people sitting on some chairs.

What should insult you is the mockery of people's minds.

To try to mislead them in this era using methods that have been buried by time. To tell lies that would be almost laughable if it weren’t stained with the blood of innocent people.

They think they are smarter than their people and the people of their allies. They think that the youth of this generation will believe the news of infant beheadings without pictures.

They deny the countless images of the Palestinians, as if we were still in the era of newspapers that only convey to us what the government wants.

What should steal the sleep from your eyes is that they still continue despite the screaming. And your rulers still provide them with your money.

Palestine may be a country far away from you. Maybe you still don't know the whole story. Perhaps you, unfortunately, still believe the lies told by racism against Arabs and Muslims. I am sorry about that. But how can you be sure that this will not happen tomorrow to another people that you love, but whose enemy has enough money to silence your government? How do you ensure that this does not happen to you tomorrow? Because it seems that in this world, every soul has a price. And the price is no longer expensive.

It has been hard for me to talk about how what is going on with Israel and Palestine is affecting me personally, but I grew up in Gaza and most of my family still lives there. My father did not survive the bombings last week and I have not been able to contact my younger sister in days. I am try to being understanding that most people do not have personal connections to what is happening and therefore are justifying their silence, but is heartbreaking to see this misinformation being spread. What’s happening there is a genocide, not a war. It is not antisemitic to support Palestine, it’s not even antiemetic to criticise Israel. There is no grey area or neutrality regarding this, and it is so easy to find resources that will educate you on the subject. It is my people and my home being destroyed so I will never be silent about this, but I please urge everyone to get informed and start speaking up and finding ways they can help.

just to be completely clear, the amount of military power and political influence Israel has has NOTHING to do with its settlers being Jewish. Israel is a force for American & European interests in the region and they're just doing what America does and allows/encourages its close allies to do.

war crimes aren't considered war crimes when someone America finds useful is doing them. european and american pushback against anyone criticizing Israeli apartheid & genocide is 100% because these crimes are useful to American & European hegemony.

Governments that are deeply antisemitic, like France, aren't suddenly caring about Jewish people. Jewish people, persecuted the world over, don't hold some kind of hegemonic power outside of Israel.

The state of Israel and its attendant brutal treatment of the locals are both incredibly useful to the US, and American hegemony means we're expected to celebrate both.

absolutely wild to me that people are genuinely saying “if Jews didn’t want antisemitism they shouldn’t have been Bad Jews” as if Israel represents all Jewish people or moreso that bigotry is ever justified. if someone can’t call out what the Israeli government is doing to Palestinians without being antisemitic they’re just a bigot. plenty of people have been able to do so, antisemitism is not inevitable. all people like that seem to do is harm everyone involved, Jewish people and Palestinian people. you’re not helping any kind of liberation with that.

People really cannot handle separating the government of Israel from Jews in general. People also had a hard time disconnecting Al Qaeda and ISIS from Islam, so I mean, I'm not surprised they can't do it here, either.

I'm on the side of the citizens. ALL of them. Everyone living in this region, regardless of nationality or religion. I am on their side. I want the government of Israel AND Hamas to lay down arms. But after that, to be honest, a huge weight does lay on the government of Israel to begin undoing decades of harm it has caused.

Netanyahu and his administration are absolutely committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. They have spent years abusing Palestinians. They've just ordered all people in north Gaza to "evacuate" to south Gaza within 24 hours. That's over 1 million people. That's impossible. They've cut off power and water and travel. It's inhumane. It's a war crime. Hands-down.

Hamas, on the other side, is just as genocidal - they just don't have as much power to enact it. They are holocaust deniers, they are openly antisemitic, they want all Jews in Israel gone or dead. Just because they claim they're "fighting for Palestinians" doesn't make them morally right. They are rapists, murderers, and kidnappers. They enforce Sharia law. They have also committed war crimes by attacking civilians.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 BREAKING: ISRAELI MILITARY TELLS 1.1 MILLION GAZANS TO LEAVE IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS

The Israeli Military has told all 1.1 million Palestinians living North of Wadi Gaza they must relocate to Southern Gaza or face destruction and death.

The affected area includes densely populated and heavily damaged Gaza City.

Just before midnight, an Alert was sent by the Israeli Military and the United Nations was notified of the forced relocation of nearly half the Gaza strip.

"The United Nations considers it impossible for such a movement to take place without devastating humanitarian consequences," the UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said.

Egypt has already warned the UN that if a humanitarian corridor is opened, even the US refuses to guarantee Palestinians the right to return to Gaza.

This is now becoming the ethnic cleansing of Gaza

Human Rights Watch confirms Israel is using white phosphorus gas on Gaza, violating int’l law

Israel cut off Gaza’s electricity and water, so no food preservation, health care, or basic means to live. Internal media coverage can go only so far without power. Hard to see the true extent of turmoil, likely by design.

Complete blockade from humanitarian aid means people starve and die from Israel’s siege on Gaza.

None of the 2M Palestinians can leave due to the open air prison Israel created around the city. Almost half of them are children.

Western media continues to cover only one side of this conflict, tainting the world’s understanding of what’s truly occurring. Public officials blindly follow suit. What a tragedy it is.

My heart and thoughts are with all those suffering in the region as a result.
