"The Shortening Winter’s Day"" 1903, by Joseph Farquharson (1846-1935). The full title is "The Shortening Winter's Day is Near a Close". There is also a smaller version titled "Beneath the Snow Encumbered Branches". Beautiful colours. My Mum had a print of this in her living room for years. It's still there and I'll always associate it with her.
