Fly In The Pool
right after Heysanna Hosanna is one of my favorite BoC tracks:

"Heysanna Hosanna" from Old Tunes, Volume 2 (0:54)
Ha ha sounds like Gorky's. So this sounds like my other favourite band. Weird. Do they love musicals?

"Hey Saturday Sun" from The Campfire Headphase (4:57)
This is ok but I hate this guitar. It is too obvious. I think this song has jangling sounds that sound like my dog is jangling his ball at me. This song makes me feel like I am flying low into architecture but yes it feels unfinished (sorry Campfire Headphase)

"Heard From Telegraph Lines" From Trans Canada Highway (1:10)
A very slow moving jangly giant

"Happy Cycling" from Music Has The Right To Children (7:51)
This is Damo's favourite BoC song. It has a very shuffley beat. The first time I listened to this properly was in October 2000 whilst driving across America. The first time I went to America I spent the whole time in the middle pretty much. It was weird. When I was listening to this song we were driving across the bluest flat place you have ever been. I have no idea where it was. When we stopped we met that Canadian guy who then disappeared. This song has backwards messages in it which is freaky. Also it takes ages to get off the ground. It is a good one tho. It sounds blue.
Two videos I watched trying to find an appropriate video for this featured seagulls. Is that how people feel about this song? Seagully? It doesn't seem that way to me, but here is the second seagull video that I found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGaP4e-uCso

"Gyroscope" From Geogaddi (3:35)
This song is immensely satisfying. One day I woke up and I felt like I had to listen to this song. I didn’t know the name of it but I knew exactly what it sounded like even though I had only listened to it once or twice. I eventually found it and listening to it makes you feel like your brain is being washed or something. It fills me with purpose.
I picked a plain video because maybe you have some ideas about Gyroscope. You don't wanna mess them up by watching someone else's idea of Gyroscope.

"Geometric Piss" from Old Tunes, Volume 2 (0:53)
A geometric piss sounds painful doesn't it? This song isn't much. Bits of fluff and paper falling through the air.
This is full of triangles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvsMy3tJB-w it is a bit like Chocky, remember Chocky? Things sure were creepy when I was a child.

"From One Source All Things Depend" from Geogaddi (2:11)
This is THE WORST. If there are two things I am not into it is 1) children and 2) god

"Forest Moon" from A Few Old Tunes Vol. 1 (5:57)
This has a very enjoyable beat but the rest of the song is repetitive and not in the good way. It eventually develops these creepy pan pipes and becomes more shuffly but it still doesn't entrance me.

"Fly in the Pool" from Old Tunes, Volume 2 (0:54)
I have never listened to this before in my life so look at this paying off! This is weird and only has one enjoyable BoC moment. Ends suddenly.

"Finity" from A Few Old Tunes Vol. 1 (5:00)
This is one I have listened to a lot. It was in my BoC rotation for about two years. The beat sound is crisp but not shuffley. Sounds like space. We've known each other for a long time.

"Farewell Fire" from The Campfire Headphase (8:28)
Feels like ghosts at a shopping centre. It is a bit painful to listen to loudly. I can’t believe it goes for over five minutes. When it is quieter it is better. Sounds like this, sounds like GRAAAAAAAAA. Helpful.

This is a hipsterz photo I took. Feels BoC to me
I wouldn't normally post a video in the absence of any comment on a particular track, but not every day is June 9th.
Exam times
It is exam times now but I will start posting again after June 20th. Here is a youtube playlist I made of my favourite BoC songs.
"Everything You Do Is A Balloon" from Hi Scores (7:04)
It’s a great song. One day I was listening to it at my old work and this dude from the factory section came in. He asked me if I was listening to Deep Forest. That was a band right? Anyway I lolled and said no but really I should have said yes and been the last Deep Forest fan in the universe. This has the BEST shuffley beat in it OF ALL TIME. I think I am quite an authority on this as I listen to a lot of shuffley beats. This song sounds like a few very specific images to me. It sounds like a cartoon hand reaching out for a venetian blind, it sounds like electronic birds flying, it sounds like sun moving slowly across a sharp white roof and it sounds like a cartoon forest. Sometimes I say that certain people don’t understand the electronic forest of my heart and I guess that this is the song I am thinking of when I say that. The beginning of this song sounds like the most divine musical sunlight that is being filtered through leaves in a forest. There is a point in this song where the shuffley beat stop slightly and I like it very much. That happens at (5:36 maybe?). This is my fourth most played song according to last fm.
From BOC Pages - Regarding the title, the band has stated that:
"Some titles are personal stories, such as Everything You Do Is A Balloon, which was a realization made long ago in the forest".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOH52LiK54k - The video I chose for this is a great one but it doesn’t match the image of this song for me. I have very specific ideas for this song and really nothing I could find would fit that.
The other day my boyfriend was entering the details of this CD into a spreadsheet (it's complicated) and he wrote the album name as Skam. That is just a bit of an aside I guess.
