Cutler and Gross, model 1094 in the deliciously labeled colourway 'Grey Evening'. Handcrafted in Italy - a process of 43 steps and a total 6 weeks in production, an injection moulded, shampoo bottle, mass produced ray ban these are not. I'll hold back on excitedly expanding in detail, as I think that little piece of fact is enough to grasp what Mrs Newson (by the way, that's not her real name - shh!) is viewing the world through.
The way in which MN glassware for Qantas, something I have been afforded the privilege of drinking from, perfectly fits the tray, I hope and do believe these quintessentially classic and honest spectacles in a sexy clean grey fit the lady responsible for one of the worlds best Industrial Designers.
