howdyyy. i'm faust. still. old ass otaku and using 3D to cope for how mediocre I am at 2D.
this whole blog is "mainly" for art because my main is cluttered with other fandom stuff and nobody wants to sift through Shugo Chara art just to find one artwork so-
since we live in the 2000s, and people behave like junebugs over the most benign things, here's a ground set of boundaries and rules:

i block and mute at my own discretion, it's what the block button is for. if it was meant for me to give you an excuse to use it then it would've had a prompt for one.
read my carrd. it's cute, it's neat, it gives a tl;dr that you gotta follow for us to get along.
it's fine if we don't like the same games or the same shows, but if you act like a spastic over it and make it everybody else's problem then that's a quick way to be blocked by me, no discussion.
i down right despise fanpol. the most pretentious, first world thing you can do in fandom is be a glorified fed because @dumbgayfujogirl900000 ships kailen and you ship gakugumi so you make a 40-page google doc calling them "the jimmy savile of the vocaloid community".
i also will block you for clogging main tags with negativity or anti-fan shit. take offense if you will, have your notp in peace, but quit notp'ing in the primary tags for said pairing.
i'm totally comfortable with a lot of rated M stuff but i do have my boundaries on what i'll render. most specifically giant age-gaps (specifically speaking -18 x +18). you'll find plenty of artists who will, i'm just not one, fair warning.
uhh what else... if i block you and you don't do any of the following, you're either primarily ai-posting &/or you probably have politics i disagree with. to test the latter, translate the following and see if we agree. if not, you got your answer: ZnVjayB0cnVtcC4gZnVjayByZXB1YmxpY2Fucy4gZnVjayBpY2UuIGZ1Y2sgaXNyYWVsLiBmcmVlIHBhbGVzdGluZS4gZnJlZSB0aGUgY29uZ28uIGJsYWNrIGxpdmVzIG1hdHRlci4gcHJvdGVjdCB0aGUgZG9sbHMuIHRyYW5zIHJpZ2h0cyBhcmUgaHVtYW4gcmlnaHRzLiBpZiB5b3UncmUgaG91c2UgaXMgaGF1bnRlZCBpdCB3YXMgcHJvYmFibHkgYnVpbHQgb24gZ3JhdmVzLiBwbGFudGF0aW9uIHdlZGRpbmdzIGFyZSBmb3Igd2hpdGUgc3VwcmVtYWNpc3RzLiBlcHN0ZWluIGpva2VzIGFyZW4ndCBmdW5ueS4geW91IGNhbiBuZXZlciBiZSB0b28gd29rZSBidXQgeW91IGNhbiBiZSB0b28gaWdub3JhbnQu
watching twilight and I keep making myself laugh imagining if it was just alucard or any other vampire instead of Edward. POV nausferatu goes to ur school
Like usual, a messy wip that needs a proportions check. But I just couldn't help myself once I saw those clips, yet another Telltale game I am fond of.
We never get to see Kate and Davids chemistry explicitly in the game. So whatever grounds for their attraction is vague reading in between the lines. Though that inst all bad. We get a good idea of who they are as characters. David is driven by responsibility and a deep sense of duty in a very militant way, which simply doesn't work well with emotional closeness. Despite how much of a domineering hardass he is, he yearns for family. They share so much repression, quiet desire.
I always hated how the discussion around Kates character is tied (ending and beginning) to "infidelity." Those flashback segments always read to me as a sort of emotional intimacy instead of some grand cheating scheme. Feelings misplaced and over indulged in, gradually imposed onto Javi throughout the story because of how distant David is. She comes across as this incredibly lonely person (in similar fashion to nick: well meaning but-) oscillating between titles, mother, and wife, because what else is she? God, the angst, THE LONGING.
At this point, el Barbecue Garcia needs to bring the meat. Better yet, Kate should.
(As for the art itself, surrealism rears its head once again. And, I gotta make edits to proportions.)
Okay so that's my totally self-indulgent OC up there, we call her "K.L.F". What that's short for is anybody's guess, really.
KLF is this former weird kid pre-apoc that never really "adulted", or rather chooses to make the most out of the zompoc by doing everything and anything she can get into reasonably. Thinking her favorite shit to do is urban explore within her own community, or wherever is close by. Which is fairly easy for her considering she’s like 5’5 and 110 soaking wet. She essentially grows character-wise to be a lot more eccentric about her circumstances.
Now, notice how KLF carries literally 80% trash. I think she collects “old-world” stuff for fun, or just in case there’s a community that LARPs as a town with a familiar currency. She lucked out and found a GBA at some point so Wolfenstein 3D and Six Rogue are the only games she has at the minute. She also found a rope of firecrackers. Terrorism is legal now so do with that what you will.
Prologue/Season 1 – ‘03 | So, KLF is from Texas, or “The Mexican Territory of Tejas” as she calls it. The zompoc kicked off during her sophomore year of college so that was nice, but at least she didn’t have to clock in for work anymore (she would then rob the place a few days later). The downside is she lost contact with her older brother, Wyatt.
She travels with this group that was from her college campus. Which they were destined to fail eventually. A cokehead con artist, a vegan, a professor who is staunchly Republican, and a fat guy who’s only form of social interaction started and ended on Ebaum. They managed to get from Pasadena to Tennessee before Fat Guy was killed by Vegan™, and Professor Republican became Cokehead Jr. and OD’d on OG Cokehead’s stash.
Anyways, KLF decided to fuck off and take her chances alone so she stole their camper and headed out north. But she has the navigational skills of a peanut so she ended up in Georgia.
Season 2 – ‘04 | At some point, KLF buddies up with some Amish farmer named Abner, a former delivery boy Beckett, and a dog she forgot the name of. They end up in Woodbury. Shit happens and only KLF, Abner and the dog (she remembers—Lemonade) are the last one’s left of their little group. KLF’s team is originally on the Governor’s side, (being manipulated just like the others) so when the Merriweather group arrives and threatens that, she agree’s with her superior and fellow soldier, Lilly Caul that Woodbury is to be protected at all cost, and that “Phillip” is dangerous, of course, but Woodbury’s needed evil.
When the Woodbury soldier go up against the Merriweather group, Caul kills Lori and consequentially Judith, but in this AU, Caul doesn’t have that moment of clarity like in the comics, but continues to act as just another blind soldier. Maybe the grief from her own miscarriage blinded her. Regardless, KLF has this clarity moment after witnessing her friend and mentor kill a mom and her baby, and kills Brian, then shooting Caul in self-defense.
Abner didn’t agree with this choice from her, so the town of Woodbury is left in his hands and KLF leaves it.
Post-Season 2 – ‘04 | KLF accidentally runs into Morgan back in Rick’s hometown, who tries to kill her and feed her to Duane’s undead body. Since she doesn’t know him like Rick, KLF kills Morgan and then killing Duane before “burying” the both of them (aka just lying them together and covering them with a sheet). After pilfering what she could, she set off. She actually ends up running into Abraham, Rick and Carl at the police station. She (smartly) decides to omit being a former Woodbury soldier and gets to stick with them.
After Ben and Billy’s deaths, the group wound up at Gabriel’s church when they can’t find Dale. When they finally find him, they get payback by killing the cannibals and Dale gets to die from his walker bite in peace.
On the way to D.C, Eugene admits that he was never talking to anyone over his walkie. Abraham wants to kill his ass (lol) but before that, they “meet” Aaron, who’s just spying on them. They tie him up and get answers from him and he tells them about Alexandria.
Alexandria is notably different from Woodbury, KLF notices. Even if weapons aren’t permitted, she keeps a switchblade in her hidden pocket just in case. They all find their roles, with KLF being put with the “pretty women” despite not having many stereotypically “Feminine” skills, but whatever keeps Monroe off her neck. So far he’s not like Brian was, so small victories.
Meanwhile Gabriel is still repenting for letting his congregation face the wolves alone. KLF talks to him one night, and admits to him that before meeting Rick and his crew officially, she used to be a soldier in the paramilitary that wiped out half his group at the prison. So there’s really nobody with clean hands, not even a Father of the church. Gabriel goes behind her back and tells Monroe this, but he tells Gabriel the same thing and warns him to keep out of everyone’s business.
After work, KLF catches Pete Anderson abusing his wife, Jessie, and gives Rick a head’s up. When shit goes down and Rick finally kill’s Pete, he asks Monroe to shift her to being his deputy. He accepts. And when Douglas steps down from being the leader, KLF gets bumped to sheriff, and appoints Carl as her Jr. Deputy (he would later deny being a “junior” anything).
Post-Season 2 – ‘05 | After the walker horde descends on Alexandria, and the funerals for Monroe, Jessie, Ron and Torbin have wrapped up, Carl wakes up from being shot in his fucking eye. Everyone’s essentially been on clean-up crew for days at that point. In late January, the Safe-Zone is running low on food. It’s around this time they meet Jesus, who says he’s from a community called Hilltop, with like hundreds of people living it. Everyone essentially thought they were the last Americans on Earth so this is legit shocking. Naturally, they tie him up and see if his story checks out. When it does, KLF and Rick meet Gregory. Ethan returns with a “message” from Negan and stabs him. Rick blows Ethan’s brain’s out, much to his group’s embarrassment and his genuine nonchalant-ness about it.
When Abraham’s killed by the Savior’s and Eugene’s taken hostage, it’s not by Dwight but Lilly Caul, who’s since merged the remaining forces of Woodbury with the Savior’s in exchange of increased protection. The secret’s now out that KLF used to be a Woodbury foot soldier and was their during the raid on Merriweather. Rick, along with Andrea and Maggie are pissed about this. A Savior tries to use this advantage to sneak an attack but Andrea kills him and they pick off the Saviors. Caul falls back and takes the survivors she has with her.
KLF’s not allowed to go to the funeral, Rick’s orders. She’d argue with him on this but Michonne tells her to sit this fight out. She does visit Abraham’s grave with Eugene afterwards. Maggie’s dodging her, too, she’s got her own shit to deal with, being pregnant and all. She has her family to take care of. Andrea’s the most vocal about how pissed she is with KLF for omitting a pretty fucking important piece of history. KLF reminds her that the bitch that just killed Abraham is the one who killed Lori and Judith. Yeah, but it’s not just Lori who died because of that attack. They lost Billy, Hershel, Dale lost his leg. Not to mention Rick losing his hand because of the Governor. KLF gets that, but she’s no special than anyone else in Woodbury, and they’re mad at the wrong person. Conversation kinda goes in circles.
So KLF goes to Rick directly and tells him before the Saviors show up again to get whatever he has to say off his chest. But he has nothing to say. Which is weird, KLF can’t tell if he hates her or not. Apparently there’s more pressing matter’s than what her old friends have going on. KLF calls him out on being passive aggressive over shit she hardly had a hand in, repeating what she told Andrea. But from where he’s standing that’s the point. It’s pretty hard to see someone who was part of that raid as anything different than an extension of the governor. Right now, she’s hardly looking different than Caul. KLF asks if he’s gonna shoot her like he shot that guy in Hiltop. Nope. So she claims he does see a difference. Rick finally says when all this is said and done, it’d be best if she stayed somewhere else for a while, outside of Alexandria.
KLF stays behind with Andrea when the group takes to Hilltop. Since KLF’s not there, the one who dies due to Negan’s ambush is Maggie. (No reason. It’s an AU, shake it up a little). Maggie’s buried at Hilltop. When they return to Alexandria, they find it trashed. Nobody died, thankfully. It was a message more than anything. Andrea and KLF took on the saviors and killed a bunch, capturing Caul in the ambush. KLF’s been shot so she’s semi-down for the count but ‘tis a flesh wound. But she wanted to be the one to torture Caul. Rick will eventually make the decision to let Caul walk, but with a plan.
When Negan arrives with his band and orders Rick to show him around while they piffle Alexandria’s supplies, Rosita’s in the window with Andrea’s rifle. Michonne talks her down. And by that I mean knocking her out like she did Rick.
Meanwhile KLF joined the tail with Jesus to stalk Caul but get caught, along with Lilly. The former manage to escape and get back to Alexandria to let them know they found Negan’s hideout, and that they heard machine guns when they escaped. Putting two-and-two together, they realize it was Carl.
They run into Negan on the way. Negan taunts Rick which causes him to beat his ass. They get Carl back, and Jesus tells him about Ezekiel and the Kingdom. Rick and Jesus go to the Kingdom, meanwhile KLF and Andrea finally talk while training. KLF takes responsibility and apologizes for brushing off the fatalities. KLF opens up to Andrea actually about her old life and even tells her her name.
The all out war starts. You’ve read it. Insert a Rocky montage here. By the end of the war, KLF gets a hint that her brother Wyatt (remember him? he was mentioned about 1000 words ago) is around the state somewhere after a caravan comes through Alexandria with a vendor who has a picture of them and him, clearly post-outbreak. KLF, even after reconciling with Rick and his family, tells him that she’s gotta take the chance and ventures out to find him.
Pre-Season 3 – ‘06 | Wow, that was a long season. Anyway, KLF’s been on her own for about a year She’s taken up hobbies that occupy her time. She hit-up an old nerd store and plans to stock up on a bunch of vending machine stuff, but when she finds a bunch of comic books and an fully functional GBA in the break room, she of course takes like 15 and marks her map to come back later for more.
At some point, the dusty auto-parts store she’d spent the night in was scavenged by the New Frontier. She’d come face-to-face with Max’s gun, and Max would come nuts to knuckles with her fist. Anyways, she meets Ava who she doesn’t need to dick punch. KLF just calls herself a drifter, really. Technically by every definition she was. She had like one lead on Wyatt’s whereabouts and that was “West Virginia”, traveled with a militant-group. KLF puts a few dots together here; big guns, a couple cars, organized. Like ‘Alright, you might be the lead I was reaching for'. Of course she doesn’t blurt this out, but does take up Ava’s offer to stick with her group.
KLF's such a pookie. Seriously, besides her being a certified DILF hunter she's basically a watered dawn Princess who went from trying to get a degree in engineering while being in total debt to trying to get the most out of her second renewal at life, even if the downsides are no A/C, no IM, no Blockbuster, no renfairs and no Chinese food.
I think I took that mostly in consideration with how she dresses. In the safety of walls, she'll dress like it's a regular day at home compared to the rest of the time. She'd rather live in comfort to the maximum allotted amount than huff around in cargos and denim, so you can imagine her an winter do not get along.
Her name's also funny, too. I couldn't think of one for her but the three I came up with started with "K", "L" and "F". So, fuck it. "KLF". I love how she only tells Andrea her name and it's never mentioned again. It's irrelevant, maybe. Or maybe it's so intimate to her she ended up just not telling people post-zompoc. Who knows? She never told me ~( ̄▽ ̄)~
